yeah, just like simmons took y'all to the the final 4, well definitely far into the tourney, well for sure into the tourney because the committee will want the fanfare of having him in there. oops.

How about last five regular season games?
1-4 for win % of 20%. That's 3-9 for the season. 2-4 in SEC at best.
9/3/16 UR Wisconsin L 14-16
11/28/15 UR Texas A&M W 19-7
11/21/15 #22 Ole Miss L 17-38
11/14/15 UR Arkansas L 14-31
11/7/15 #4 Alabama L 16-30
Outscored to 122 to 82.
We have not scored 20 points in any game with average of 16.4 ppg. (defense actually scored a bunch of these so actually less)
Giving up average of 24.4 pts per game 28.75 in losses.
UPDATED: The actual offensive scoring is 14.8 ppg. When adjusted for two defensive TDs.
Averages:
4.5 3 and outs per game, tons more 6 and outs.
21/68 on 3rd downs for 31% efficiency
2 turnovers per game
29 minute time of possession per game (OK)
321.4 yards per game on offense
Passing game
60/128 (47%)
5.78 yards per catch (Yikes)
average per game 161.4 yards
Average and mean per game 120.75 (When taking Ole Miss game out since was garbage time and double all other games with 324 yards per game)
Again, we are averaging 14 pts per game on offense in last 5 regular season games.
As usual Les Miles consistency is his best attribute.

you just compared a head coach to an individual player
you have always come across as slightly downsy

Because Les has had previous success, he should be given a lifetime contract IMO.
Can't believe FSU got rid of Bowden :smh:.

the decline was short lived. it was 3 hours on 1/9/12
we have since been in a valley. death valley you could say because miles feels the heat

Somehow is the key word.

Probably but it would be silly to be scared at the potential of a good coach coming to the SEC. We already have one of the best coaches of all time in the division.

Quite a slide from #2 down to #6. Can't believe you guys are able to get out of bed in the morning.
With a better coach and all of that talent, it wouldn't be #6.

If you change those stats to include post 2011 games you might get a better idea

LSU has failed to finish in the Top 25 just twice under Miles (2008 and 2015).
From 2005-2011, there have been only 2 seasons with only 3 losses or more under Miles
Under Miles, LSU has had seasons with 3 losses or more every year since 2011. That is what matters.

not at all
Herman wrecked Bama while at OSU as OC and was then brought in by Saban to consult as to how he wrecked Bama. He then went 13-1 as a brand new HC and proceeded to wreck FSU in a bowl game. He then proceeded to wreck OU in a season opener.
At Houston.
I can't even fathom a coach like that at really any SEC school.
He's also a MENSA member, so there's that

He doesn't believe in trends.
Sure I do. Arkansas' trend with Bielema as head coach should be an embarrassment to all Hogs everywhere.
Arkansas' 30-year winning percentage before Bielema: 59.2%
Arkansas' 25-year winning percentage before Bielema: 56.8%
Arkansas' 20-year winning percentage before Bielema: 55.2%
Arkansas' 15-year winning percentage before Bielema: 58.7%
Arkansas' 10-year winning percentage before Bielema: 59.2%
Arkansas' 5 year winning percentage before Bielema: 60.3%
Bielema's Winning Percentage: 48.7%
Bert has taken what was historically a program that won 55-60% of its games into a period in which sub .500 records excite the fans.
That is a trend that Hog fans don't ever want to admit. But its the truth.

My whole point is that if he does end up at LSU we should be scared because LSU will go from a 9-10 win team to a 10-11 win team? Stupid to get "scared" over something like that.

I actually wasn't even talking about Bert but you bring him up out of no where. You show your insecurities to easily.

um, an 11 win team makes the playoffs and will be winning SEC titles, so yeah. Last time LSU was a perennial 11+ win team, they won the west 3 times in 7 years. if you don't think there's much of a difference between 9 wins and 11, I don't know what to tell you

I love this board.
10:00 A.M.
"Man LSU sucks. They should be embarrassed."
"Les Miles LULZ"
"LSU will never win another title with Les"
3:00 P.M. (Same Posters)
"What do you mean they want Miles fired?"
"They're crazy"
"They'll never get another good coach. Ever!"

College football has evolved since 2005, Miles hasn't.
