Mooyah's is good stuff but probably twice the price of Cookout. Also, forgot to mention both places have REALLY good shakes.

Cook Out is the undisputed king of midnight fast food runs after you're done smoking a blunt.
You can't beat a 5 dollar cookout tray when you're blitzed to high hell.
Them Cajun fries are the bomb.

Athens has two as well. They're pretty good. Place has stayed packed out since the first one opened three or four year ago. The second one isn't too far from downtown.

always get a BBQ tray.
BBQ Sandwich
Hush puppies
Honey Mustard Chicken Wrap
Sub a shake for a drink
And its like $5
fricking the best. Their shakes are the best man.
Sounds like the Golden Corral of hamburger joints.

I've ate at the one in Maryville, and it's pretty damn good.
Cheap too.

Cook-Out is nothing to write home about in terms of quality. There is a reason why it's spreading like wild fire across the south though.

I love some Cook Out. 2nd best fast food burger I've ever had behind In n Out.
Steak N Shake is so much better than In-N-Out it's not even funny.

In N Out Burger is the most overrated chain in the country. Had lunch at the LAX location (busiest franchise) and couldn't figure what all the fuss was about. Glorified McDonalds.

I'm amazed at the people who think it is anything above average ITT. It was ok and very cheap, so I see the appeal, but some of y'all are acting like it's much better than it actually is. If I were in college, I'd be all over it. I didn't get to try the milkshake, so there is that. Maybe I should try that and then I'll be hooked like the rest of you
