You try to keep up. As starters they both average about 300 yards a season.
His argument is still invalid.

Has ole miss been to Atlanta with those passing numbers. How many 1000 yard rushers has Ole Miss had this decade?LSU played for a title and won the SEC with those numbers.

TLDR: Harris sucks. LSU will be above average and be in the same boat at Halloween as last year. 9-3 and can't fire Les.
ole miss will be in the same boat that they have for the entirety of their program's history: not winning 10 regular season games. therefore, not winning the west.
have fun with that. YAOM.

You are correct that they had similar stats. Neither was a great runner.
I'd give the edge to Bo in the rushing department--he could leave the field of play faster than anyone
Jefferson was never back in the locker rooms that quickly.

So if Jefferson is a runner that wasn't as good as Bo Wallace but he is a better thrower than Harris; But Harris can't run very much at all, how is LSU going to be any better than last year?

I read exactly none of that but ole miss sucks.

Christ almighty. Ole Miss is going to be Ole Miss this year and you're breaking down QB data of Jordan Jefferson. Let that sink in.

No clue. Les will find a way. After all, he bested High Freeze and a senior Bo Wallace with Anthony Jennings at the helm.

Didn't mean to down vote. Was well worded imo

None, unless you're a drama queen.

There is a 60% chance that Harris will improve his QBR in year 2. Out of every SEC 2 year starting QB since 2000 22 of the 35 have increased their QBR on average of 12 pts. Is that enough to win a title. Don't know, but he does have better than a 50/50 chance of improving..

What about Mettenberger's first year starting to his second year starting?
He only picks the 1 QB during Miles' tenure who didn't improve from first year starting to next year starting
Russell? Nope
Lee? Nope
Mettenberger? Nope

there are more variables than just that. coaching staff changes, attrition, etc. Harris has benefited greatly by LSU hiring a better DC to supplement the team as well as benefiting by returning almost the entire team from last season, a team that would have won 10 games without having McNeese cancelled

Lee? Nope
If Lee improved so much why did he lose his job?

strawman. he also lost his starting job during year one, not after

Lee didn't.
Ok so J. Lee was (if I remember correctly) the most efficient QB in the SEC in 2011.

Because Miles had an unabashed love affair with Jefferson, why? We'll never know. But nudes had to be involved. Lee was very good in 2011. He basically only "co"-started in 2008 and 2011. To be fair to Jefferson in 2011, he was doing well too until he shat himself in the NCG
