Your metrics are irrelevant and in no way pertain to the point that I originally made. You misinterpreted what I said and refused to abide by any sort of time period, resulting in you overcompensating and condescendingly trying to prove some unknown point when, in turn, all you've been doing is posting a bunch of completely unnecessary malarkey.

You just look foolish

Why must we abide by a time period? Because your argument is blown to shite if we don't? Sorry our parameters aren't to your utmost convenience.

How so? If you can explain to me how average player rating is irrelevant, I'm happy to listen.

the point that I originally made.

Speaking of, let's clear that up. Here is a brief synopsis of the discussion that was made through the first 2 pages

Go ahead and list the SEC wins over the last for years as well. I'll help you. Tennessee would be 4-27 if not for sweeping Vanderbilt and Kentucky
wasn't the question in the OP concerning recruiting? Are you trying to argue Tennessee hasn't recruited well?

(missing the point of the post so an LSU poster called you out on it)
quote:

Not as well as Ole Miss

(note: no mention of what metrics would be used here is made )
quote:

Blah blah... inaccurate statement about going 0-fer in the conference...

Then there is some additional bickering about whether 2012 should count or not... an LSU fan calls you out and says that the classes are essentially the same but you're not happy with it.

Did I lose you anywhere? So essentially, at no point were there any agreed upon metrics as to what constitutes better recruiting... this is your problem... define the goal from the beginning. If you want to claim something that everyone's been telling you since the first page is accurate as some amazing win, go for it... it simply doesn't equate to what you think it does. By every metric I've provided you - all of which could be considered valid statistics when evaluating recruiting classes (I'm assuming you watched a bit of ESPN during signing day coverage and you heard discussion of both class ranking and average player ranking).

quote:

You misinterpreted what I said and refused to abide by any sort of time period

No, you simply didn't state all of the qualifications that you wanted to use until metrics were presented and they didn't favor your narrative. Additionally, when I did move to your time period and used an average player rating from 2013-now (the 4 year time span that you preferred), Ole Miss still failed to out recruit Tennessee.

quote:

overcompensating and condescendingly

I've had no need to overcompensate... but I did return the condescending language in kind, sure.

quote:

prove some unknown point

That's the thing, it's been known to everyone in the thread but apparently you... that recruiting rankings are inherently subjective... there are a million ways to spin the numbers. One of them favors Ole Miss... essentially every other metric conceivable doesn't. Essentially, you trolled yourself.

all you've been doing is posting a bunch of completely unnecessary malarkey.
You just look foolish

This is when you know you've lost... you throw a bunch of asinine shite out there that is 99% factually incorrect and then resort to telling someone else that they failed to present a logical argument.
