I didn't realize that you've won 10 regular season games, EVER, in over 110 years. That's 11 decades, in case you're wondering

Being called fat, poor, racist, and saying my whole family will be "facefricked" doesn't necessarily constitute getting owned - Although I can see you head-bobbing in your Tennessee hoodie as you frantically type these statements thinking you're somehow winning

Tennessee is 10-21 over that four year stretch and were left in a much better predicament than what Houston Nutt left in Oxford

I think some Ole Miss fans may literally kill themselves if Tennessee wins the east this year and Ole Miss doesn't win the west

I mean at least Bama knows how to parlay cheating into significant on the field success. Ole Miss can't even manage to do that.

How many more games has TN won than OM these last few years?

Oh, and 34-3.

I know Ole Miss will never win anything significant and is pretty much irrelevant from a title contender aspect. It's never been a Ole Miss vs Tennessee argument with me, it's more so of a Tennessee is a has-been of a program that will never win another title in your lifetime and Butch Jones is completely inept type of argument. They are the Nebraska Cornhuskers or the Miami Hurricanes of the SEC. A storied program that is essentially done for in today's landscape of college football but they just can't admit it

eh, i wouldn't say that yet. the sec and ut have far too much money invested in football for them to ever sink to what miami and nebraska have become. miami gets no support whatsoever from the university or its "fans." nebraska is 1000 miles from the closest recruiting hotbed. honestly, the fact they were ever good is kind of amazing.

i mean did you think ole miss was "done for" in 2011? what makes tennessee's situation now so different (or even as bad for that matter)? all it takes is the right coach

The recruiting argument is a legitimate point, but Tennessee has to recruit nationally more so than any other "big" program in the conference. There's really no argument to be made, I don't know why I even typed that. Still, Nebraska has more money than Tennessee and they take football just as, if not more seriously than Tennessee

I've always thought Ole Miss could be a respectable program in the league that could average 8-9 wins a year

Which they don't have. Butch Jones has done nothing but piggy-backed Brian Kelly and his success, all while seeing his two inherited programs (Central Michigan, Cincinatti) regress under his watch

No it isn't. It's a red herring.

they do have to recruit nationally, but knoxville is just a few hours in all directions from fertile recruiting ground.

i'll just agree to disagree. they both have a lot of money

You're right, the article is legit.
