the field success. Usually you see these numbers jump up when you are successful on the field like win championships. 5 star Recruit's don't typically go to schools where they lose to Memphis. Just really puzzling.

We finished
40th
7th
17th
19th
in recruiting

We finished 17th and 9th in the polls the last two years. That's not underperformance.

You ruined my narrative In that case 3 of the 4 big croots in 2013 had legit reasons to attend Ole Miss

LSU's recruiting at a very high level, so there goes that theory.

LSU has a very high win percentage, a few national championships, and many SEC championships and more players in the NFL than any other team.

Don't ever compare OM to LSU. It just makes you look stupid.

Do doubt about that. We have QBs that can consistently complete a pass for 10 yards and unlike LSU can beat Alabama.

Let's all hope that LSU can defeat Bama one time in the next 5 years.

Les will keep his job.

Now ain't that the truth. Funny that the 3 years pre-Saban Bama average recruiting class was in the 20's range. Once he arrived and lost to UL Monroe he started racking up major annual hauls of 5*s. How did that happen?

Saban had at least already made a name for himself before Bama. Nobody knew who the hell Bucky Beaver was when OM hired him. Wasn't he a high school girls basketball coach or something like that not long ago? He has no championship teams under his wing, he wasn't known for being a good QB coach like Mullens. What did he really have to offer other than an understanding of how to funnel money to players through the churches?

Did you catch him in Blind Side? He really stood up to Sandra Bullock.

You say this like ole miss beats Alabama consistently. When freeze signed that class in 2013, you had 8 all time wins against Alabama and hadn't beaten them in 10 years

And highly rated recruits without coaching guarantee wins vs the likes of Bama....I think if you look at your own program you'll see the answer buddy. Btw do you remember 11/21/2016. I do, you team quit before your fans did in the 3rd Qtr

Then you lose to Memphis. Freaking Memphis!!!!

And once again, you beat them twice. This is not an indication of the history of your program. I understand you guys beat off to this constantly but to the rest of the SEC, it was just another ordinary year. Prior to this stretch, I believe There was a stretch were LSU beat Bama 5 times in a row. We have certainly beat the 2 years in a row several times.

Please, give the "we beat Bama" shite a rest. I know it's a miracle for you guys, but to put it simply, the rest of the SEC is not impressed.

Read what you just typed and really try to think about it....do you think that would be appealing to a young recruit to go play for a coach that has been able to do what your coach hasn't done? The last time these recruits can recall LSWho doing that they were in grade school.....why don't you guys try to do something novel with all that talent over there. If you stopped playing an antiquated offense you may finally beat Satan with players he didn't recruit.

LSU has still out recruited Ole Miss and every other team in the conference outside of Alabama so I guess recruits do want to play for a coach like that. And I didn't realize saban recruited players on the 2010 and 2011 teams, the more you know I guess.

Again you just ended a 10 year losing streak to Alabama, not sure why you're pretending you regularly beat them

Hugh Freeze Recruitment by ABearsFanNMS
And that 2013 class was top heavy with little depth. I mean we had Spice Sr, AC was always going to Ole Miss, we were the only team that offered Laremy's brother and Treadwell was not coming until he came to the recruiting weekend. Other than that, they got Engram in that class but not much else stuck.

I guess taking a hapless team that could barely take the field do to the academic issues Nutt left behind to a bowl game after a 2 win season was just plain luck. I guess increasing win totals every year you are a HC is something to sneeze at. I guess CHF got lucky not once but twice in a row against Bama....give me a break!

If anybody needs anything from you, they pull around to the drive thru window.
