Why don't schools just do what Bama is doing?

Alabama has laid the foundation for success. I don't understand why schools continue to try it their way when it fails and falls apart. Ole Miss is now paying for their mistakes. The formula is simple:
1. Deer Antler Spray
2. Dodge Chargers
3. "Suit" Salesmen
4. Some crazy fans to keep attention away from the cheating that's going on in the program. (Tree poisoning, t-bagging, etc.)
5. SEC Office Location
1. Deer Antler Spray
2. Dodge Chargers
3. "Suit" Salesmen
4. Some crazy fans to keep attention away from the cheating that's going on in the program. (Tree poisoning, t-bagging, etc.)
5. SEC Office Location

Man that formula has been working since the 1920s. I just want to know why we stopped for a few years in the mid-2000s

He's obviously the mastermind behind it all.

It is like cheating off your buddy during a test. You don't want to both turn in the exact same answer sheet. Gotta throw a few here and there to make it not look suspicious. That is what happened with all the Mike's.

SEC Office Location-Does not compute. See location of SEC office in 2002 when Bama was slammed with one of the worst probations in history. Thank you.
You must be one of those younguns who tells stories about being a toddler, sitting in your dads lap at games during the friggin 2000 season. Now go play with your X-Box and brush up on history before you comment on it.

Yea, the SEC Office really bailed us out of the 2 crippling probations during the 1990s and 2000s.

This thread is praising Alabama for its success. Not sure what your point is.

You forgot the diversionary tactics of textbooks and free party trips to Miami...and fishing too.
Stealing signals, parabolic mic filming guy,
Should I mention that the visitor's headsets are bugged at BDS? nah

And the schedules, let's never forget our permanent cross-division rival and the SEC giving is favorable schedules for years on end.

agree.
1 - have better talent
2 - have better depth
3 - have better coaching
4 - create an expectation of, and environment for, success that permeates every detail within the program
5 - leave nothing to chance - have a plan for any and all things
6 - be so consistent at steps 1 - 5 that opponents begin to think of your game as an automatic L

Be lucky enough to have the two best college coaches ever? Yeah other teams are so dumb for not doing that.

Not exactly luck. George Denny was actively trying to create football power. Bama was the first Southern school to use radio and newspapers advertisements. He went and hired Wallace Wade. Followed that up with Frank Thomas, who coached Bear Bryant.
We were lucky to have a President who could see the future of football being a big time sport, decided to pursue it and succeeded in his methods. Since then, we've been established as a power that can attract and retain big name coaches, and even steal them away from NFL teams (more than once). These great coaches don't just fall in our lap.

I'm guessing that #5 was not utilized in the 2013 Iron Bowl. Chris Davis! Sweet!
