Let me break this down for you. I know you've had a rough couple of days so take your time and read it a couple of times, it may sink in
When LSU gave his brother a job and he committed there it was sort of questionable but he's lived in Louisiana so you can understand, sort of.
His brother gets a better job at Ole Miss so he decommits from LSU and commits to Ole Miss. This is eye brow raising but nothing to investigate because it is barely above board.
If he were to decommit from OM and recommit somewhere as soon as his brother gets hired that would 100% be investigated.
I hope this isn't too tough for you to understand

Add in SMU's loss of 9 scholarships over 3 years for a basketball program. That is a severe kick in the nuts.
It is very obvious the NCAA is pissed at OM and they don't have to prove anything before imposing sanctions.
OM should be very worried about this.

We lost 21 scholarships, two year bowl ban and 5 years probation for less than that.

And Bama is a Big Name program, it hurt the NCAA's bottom line to levy sanctions against Bama and USC.
Dropping the hammer on a No Name, No Market program like Ole Miss won't faze the NCAA, NOT. ONE. BIT.

Yep, the NCAA is definitely holding back on something.
I think this is only the light shower before the heavy thunderstorm coming....

Yeah, free cars, large amounts in prepaid gift cards, faking ACT scores to get guys in school, and they are calling these "secondary" violations?
Going to be quite a show over the next six months!

Is it 7 months? I recall an OM poster saying a few weeks

Shea Patterson never committed to LSU

I did some research:
Apparently he received 3 loaner cars over a 6 month period from the dealer while they underwent never ending repairs to his junker. Also an interest free loan for a car down payment.
Then his pops ratted him out for agent contact and falsified grades. Not sure what happened RE the grades but apparently the agents bought a plane ticket for him. That's good for a suspension 7 games it seems when he paid it all back to charity.
Wonder if the NCAA accusations about Tunsil that no one is worried about because "he served his time" include academic misconduct like the Saunders claim, the track team, and the women's basketball team. With a track record like this I'm not sure how anyone could accuse OM of such things.

Step father. A few other details you aren't aware about but...ok

You are right, and step father and father are only as similar as a Klondike bar and an actual polar bear. Man was I off base.

Dont forget to make your Mississippi open records request Monday before the rush. When they deny your request they will owe you $100. No way they send you a copy, free $100 for all with a stamp and google. There must be a way to pyramid scheme this

the NCAA sent the letter to our outside legal counsel....which is not a public organization and therefore not subject to foia laws.
There's quite a few things that you BAMA fans obviously aren't aware of. Not surprising tbh.
