Hey there!!
I was about to say something snarky and condescending about party central not being as refined as going to the Cheesecake Factory in Arkansas but then I looked on the website and saw that they don't have a Cheesecake Factory in Arkansas.
Things are good! I've been busy and my phone fell into a body of water, but other than that I can't complain. How about you??
Duke: Am HAPPY to offer suggestions. I have to entertain people all of the time and so I have a good running list of culinary and spirit filled mouth adventures.

If you can't be snarky, be smarmy.
Things have been well. Just working and planning another trip out to Denver in a few weeks. Decided to start doing stuff besides working all the time.

Ohhh that's fun!!! I love it out there! Summertime is great too. Do you hang out on the bunny slopes or are you advanced?
A group of us are going to Vancouver next month. I lobbied for warm weather but was outvoted.
Gotta run go meet some people for dinner and get back so that I can be in bed early for work. I work to play.

I hear ya.
Haven't gone skiing yet. My ankle still isn't strong enough for that quite yet. I'm hoping to get there in warmer weather as well. I've always said if I moved out of Alabama, Alaska is the only place I'd go, as I've been there and seen how beautiful it is. I'd add Colorado to that list now.

Colorado is more fun in the summer. All you can really do in the winter is ski. Summer? Hit up the local pot shop, grab some cookies, and go for a hike. Or fishing. The scenery is spectacular.

Planning on some parks and hiking, weather permitting. And definitely wanting to return in the summer. Want to check out a concert at Red Rocks as well. Probably hitting the Nature and Science Museum among a couple other things when I go back out this next time. Will be about halfway tween Denver and Colorado Springs.

There is a moes bbq that my friends just opened on Calhoun across Claiborne from Tulane campus. Nothing crazy, just good bbq if you are in to that kind.of thing.

Have you tried the pizza at Domenica's during happy hour? I think it's 2;30 - 5:30, half off pizza and cocktails. They make a damn good pizza and their grilled cauliflower with feta dip is awesome. Also, I'm still in love with Cochon.

what about clancy's? i was reading an article on yahoo the other day about hmm don't remember the wording but basically like the most expensive restaurants in the us that are actually worth the cost. i don't remember theirs being that outrageous compared to some others in the article but is it worth the splurge??

NO is a filthy party city you generally go to just to party and be filthy.
It has some redeeming qualities like the dday center but meh.
Lots of history if that's you're sort of thing but I'd hate to live there.

Have not been there, but I can find out about it from my Nola friends. Or Bella may know....when you go back to NOLA, try a burger at Port-O-Call or the debris fries at R&O's in Metarie. Two of my favorite joints.
Also, I saw where you posted about being in the FQ for Mardi Gras, you should really try it along St. Charles, it is more fun than you should be allowed to have as an adult.

Different strokes...I love New Orleans, I love the culture, the food and the general attitude of it's people. Are there problems? Absolutely, but if I could move there tomorrow I would.

I've noticed Alabama fans are staring its third world yet this is coming from people who live in Alabama.
Things about Alabama
If you have the most teeth in your town you are considered snobby.
If you have a double wide, you are rich.
Chances are you are dating a family member.
Most tide fans have no clue where Tuscaloosa is.
Electricity is a luxury.
Tide fans think UA has won 25 NC in football.
