Maybe, but this kid was never getting into Florida without football, nor would Richard Sherman have gotten into Stanford or Ryan Mallet to Michigan. It's still a great opportunity.

My wife graduated from college 18 years ago and I just got finished paying her school loans off.

Let them do that for 18 years and see how good they have it

Student athletes bring in way more value to a school than the value of a scholarship. It is an unbalanced system.

And we hear stories of how athletes are steered to certain majors so that classes don't conflict with practice schedules. It is not as benevolent a system as you are making it seem.
