Most of them major in bullshite degrees and can't write their own papers even at a HS FR level.

If so, what is the problem? they earned their education so everything is fine!
there is no fricking reason to complain
I have no problem with this. I was just arguing against the notion that these kids get a free education without sacrifice.

That makes zero sense. If medical students made millions for their university while in college then sure, pay them. The point you're missing in your argument is that athletes have to work on the feild AS WELL AS the classroom. Name another scholarship recipient that has to focus on more than just school work?
What you don't understand is that there are dozens of young ones who could fill the roll of football players and the school system would not miss a bit, they are not that special on their own, what makes them special is the structure called college football.

I don't know why the NFL doesn't work with the CFL as their minor league team. You wouldn't have the need to drop entrance requirements for so many football players if they went this route.

So how much do you think they deserve T make per semester. Remember title 9 required all athletes get the same scholarship intitlements no matter the sport , or the equal portion to a % of that scholarship.
In other words if you give a football player 20k , you have to give the full scholarship women's point guard the same.

I would agree save for the great number of them that do not belong in college and would have trouble completing an auto insurance application.
So are you arguing it would be better for them to not be in college and be selling used cars instead of houses?
The only people who get hurt by their incompetence is their alumni clients that are just happy to sniff their jock and get a football signed or two.

True but they could get the same from the CFL and the good kids could train for their real jobs without the need to fake being a student athlete.

I have zero problem with that, but that's not what Tabor is complaining about.
After AJ green and TG3. Hell make what you can off your name.

Um, 90%+ percent don't play in the NFL.

Tabor probably just put out a doobie right before those comments.

I don't think the two and three stars are banking on a NFL career.

I am making that argument. Many of these kids have no business in college and wouldn't be there if not for being faster, bigger and stronger than most of their peers.
Institutions of higher learning first.
Why wouldn't a HS player with a pretty much NFL guarantee go get paid in the CFL for three years first? Why be a victim to "slavery"?

Maybe so , but that doesn't really give the NCAA the right to make money the kids name either.
