Not saying you shouldn't be, I just think that expecting a defense that was mediocre last season to all of a sudden be elite because all of the players from the mediocre defense return plus a very good d-coordinator isn't crazy, but it isn't some sort of stone cold lock either.

Literally zero LSU fans wanted Welter on the field.
Jalen Collins was beat out by two freshman (Tre White/Rashard Robinson).
Nobody was pumping them as "world beaters."
Also, Kwon had a great year as a rookie in the NFL (*cough*PEDs aside*cough*).

Depends. If we're 11-1 with a close loss to Alabama we could still make the playoff. In that scenario you'd have to say yes.

Ding, ding, ding. We have been hearing this crap from them for too long. They don't want to hear the truth. They just want everyone to bow down to them as if they have done anything to earn respect.
Many teams would kill to have an NC appearance in the last 5 years, 3 appearances and 2 championships in the last 15...They would kill to have the worst season in a decade and a half be 8 wins and to average double digit wins in a conference as prestigious as the SEC
We get it, we can't be Bama you alone deserve all of the attention and respect.

If LSU does not win the SEC in 2016 Les will probably be fired. Who he beats is irrelevant at that point.
