Sorry if Germans but how does the 2004 USC Title team stack up against any of the last 4 Bama title teams?

Not trolling, just wanted tRants views.

odd question...why did you pick 04 USC?

IMO, they'd run roughshod through 09 and 15. 04 USC would beat 12 but it'd be close.

11 I have no idea, that team was really, really damn good.

Media called that team the GOAT. I like Saban in the underdog role.

Picked them since they were likely the most dominant and talented team in the BCS era IMO

Lack of a running QB is good for Bama. Saban could probably find a way to split the games.

I don't see this years Bama team beating 04 USC just because Coker wouldn't have been able to do alot with that defense but the 2011 or 2012 team with McCarron I believe wouldve been real close.

2004 USC was not that good. They were solid, but nowhere near the team people make them out to be. Christ, that team is so overblown, and all thanks to a shitty Oklahoma team.

Unranked Stanford was up on them 28-17 at halftime, they struggled with California, unranked Oregon State was up on them 13-7 at halftime, and they needed 5 field goals to put away unranked UCLA.

Leinert would have been a sitting duck against any of those defenses, but especially '11 and '15.

Easy to do with their schedule. See my edit above.

Not so subtle trolling by another butt-hurt LSU fan.

2004 USC was stripped of their championship and forced to forfeit the last two games including the Orange Bowl, and all of the 2005 games. Op seems to be trying to imply Alabama's four latest championships are going to suffer a similar fate. LOLSU.

The irony is Auburn could have been NC that year had USC been caught sooner. Two good things happened then... USC was put under sanctions and the kept the farmers from a NC.

LSU fans cannot help themselves when it come to Alabama. They are compelled to try to denigrate their daddy like squawking brat-teenagers.

Cal was very good that year. That was when they had Rodgers and Lynch on the team.

The point of my post was that 2004 USC is not some legendary team that some make them out to be.

would be good games but I think USC's style of offense would very much play right into the hands of the bama D.

Pro style offense isn't beating Bama without an elite defense, and even then it's close.

Just encouraging discussion bud, no trolling as posted beforehand. You guys have been dominant the past 7 years. I even said the 2011 and 2012 teams would probably beat 2004 USC so again, I'm not understanding your subtle troll comment.

I was actually putting you guys in the discussion as one of if not the greatest team of the last decade or so. Does that constitute trolling?

I'm also deeply sorry you have to feel so insecure about your recent titles.
