Also Miami 1980s early 90s dominated their opponents for just as long and with just as many if not more large score victories over ranked teams. BTW only time I've cheered for Bama was the 92 NC glad the Tide ended the canes streak!

No doubt. Gotta give credit where credit is due:

That Miami decade was sick.
Bowdens 13 year stretch at FSU
USC's microdynasty
Wilkinsons Oklahoma Sooners were insane.
Both of Neylands terms in Knoxville were legendary.

But comparing ND "dominance" over puppet teams of the 40's is laughable.
