If true, Vawls Excuse #1 for 2016 is still locked in. It's the DC's fault. Not Butch. Not the players. Not the competition. It's the DC.

This would be epic if it turns out to be Chavis.

His son is still a partner at a law firm in Knoxville. My future FIL is also a partner there. Chavis still has lots of family in Knoxvegas from what I hear.

Sullivanct19a,

You have posted every single Tennessee thread, and somehow worked Tennessee into your posts in many threads not pertaining to Tennessee in any way, ever since Michigan put it deep in your butt.

What's wrong son, is there a reason we're occupying the majority of your thoughts?

Can y'all afford the buyout & the raise to get him???

Tennessee has one of the lowest paid coaching staffs in the SEC and just profited more than anyone in the SEC this past football season. So in short, yes they have the money to pay whatever, although I doubt it ends up being Chavis

When was the last time a football coach left A&M to go to an SEC school that wasn't fired?

I'd bet the answer is BEAR BRYANT.
