My choice is Andy Hill; the Associate HC.

That would actually go a long way to develop a rivalry faster. I don't know that he would go, but just calling would piss off a large contingent.
I say at least make the call

If MU doesn't go after Fuente first they are crazy. That being said why is Mike gundy not on the radar for these bigger programs? The dude is more successful at OSU than Miles was.

It's a terrible year for mizzou to be looking for a coach
So much competition and possibly more to come

Nah instead you had a 200 year old flag removed from your state forever,
The southerners playing the Mizzou is racial dumpster fire card are clueless morons.
Mizzou is fine. People and especially recruits will forget about this in about 2 months.
The bigger issue right now is how many of the current players came to Mizzou to play for Pinkel. Will they stay or will they transfer? Will the new coach clean house with assistants? If we lose Odom and Kulo that will do much more damage than the President and Chancellor getting fired, especially considering they were ALREADY in hot water before this racial shite even came up.
Some of you are so fricking clueless it's unbelievable.
Mizzou is a top 3 opening in this offseason with 4+ million dollars to offer and a chance to compete in the BEST football conference in America.
Yea no one would ever want that job right

he's certainly an improvement over Pinkel, but why sell ourselves short?

No. It's over. Why would a coach want to go there? It's clear that a bunch of 'activists' can take over the campus, including that coach's chain of command. There'd never be any stability.
USJW is dead. Cast it away into the abyss.

A better recruiting base to build on within the state,
......And that's not even taking into account not wanting to follow in the footsteps of Pinkel...
considering you've been wrong pretty much every step of the way about Mizzou/Pinkel/football, I'll take this as a good sign.

I don't see gundy leaving OSU for MU but USC and probably USCe are crazy for not having that guy at the top of the list.

USC is arguably the only program that is in a different conversation than Mizzou.
USCe? Terrible until Spurrier, terrible again. Have to compete with Clemson for recruits, considering Clemson is #1 right now and a shite load more tradition than USC, it's no contest right now.
VT? Who wants to take over from Beamer? The guy has been there forever. Who even knows what VT football is without him.
Miami? Maybe #2 best job open, they have a terrible stadium and terrible facilities though. But, they are in the best recruiting area in the country. A good coach could revive that program into a national power again.
Mizzou? Has an elite QB getting experience, has a top 10 defense that is returning most of their starters, has been a consistent program over the last 10 years. Since 2007 Mizzou is in the top 10 in wins. Last 3 years? 2 SECCGs.
You're all delusional if you don't think Mizzou is a destination job at this point. Everywhere has "black marks", Mizzou is no different, I don't expect a future coach to look at that situation as the norm, he cares about winning football games, and Mizzou's current roster gives a coach ALOT of chances to win.
