I mean, he wont. Look personally I dont give a shite about the Heisman. I would rather be in yalls shoes controlling my own destiny for the SEC and national title. But LF is the one that controls his own destiny for the Heisman

Yea, Fournette is going to gain a bunch of yards the next 3 games. Especially that last one. My gosh.

He can if he obliterates records in 11 games and has 2-3 more 200+ yards games, which is totally feasible given his opponents.

The fact he is +200 an the favorite is barely ahead at +150 the Monday right after the game, where the cut is still fresh, shows he already escaped it. I dont get how yall dont see that. If you are trolling fair enough but if not I just dont get it

With 2 TD's sure. <500 yards and fewer than 6 TDs in the final 4 games may not be enough though.

Everything LF had done before Bama now looks less impressive. The narrative is now, "But what did he do against Bama?" Henry crushed LSU's soul.

look man you can keep ignoring it until your blue in the face but this isn't "my" narrative. this is literally a thread about him no longer being the front runner. I'm sorry if you don't think it's fair but that's life.

Except it is your narrative. If it were actually as heavy a criteria as you seem to think then no heisman winner would have ever won anything less than a conference championship.

Hell, aTm's loss to LSU in 2012 is what lost the the West title. So, he played like shite in his team's biggest game of the season, yet he still won it.

5.5 YPC. Stop the presses. He did a good job but it wasn't anything like what we saw with Fournette against AU.

are you really comparing Auburn's defense to Bama's? I guess bama just won again

well that's not true. especially with Henry getting the sec cg as a showcase. there's a reason Henry has better odds this week.

and mainly it's because Leonard fournette had the worst game of his life in the biggest game of his life. this is part of his legacy no matter how unfair you think it is and better believe it will affect heisman voting no matter what he does down the stretch.

Yea, but he would have done them against crappy defenses like he had done all year long.

Hell, Henry has 1 bad and 1 very mediocre game this year.

I assume you are talking about vs ULM where he only had 13 carries and 52 yds with a TD and barely played because he had been sick all week. If voters look at that than they should look at skewed stats like in Henry's 2 games against OOC teams(MTSU and ULM) where Saban pulled him in the 3rd qtr and against ULM played very little in 2nd at all and had a combined total of 31 carries where as LF against OOC teams(WKU and EM) stayed in for both 4th qtrs and got 52 carries combined.

You would get along really well with the other idiot in this thread.

It's particularly funny coming from a Bama fan. Ingram shite the bed in the last regular season game of the season and only had 1 game to repair his image. Fournette gets 3, minimum.

He will have 6 common oppponets to compare himself to Henry when the season is over. This will be weighed heavily when pen actually meets paper

So far in the common opponents LF has:

MSU- 159 YDS 3 TDS
AU- 228 yds 3 tds
UF- 180 yds 2 tds

Henry has:

Ole miss- 127 1 td
Arky-95 yds 1 td
236 yds 2 tds

Advantage LF as of now.

That's silly. I agree he won't have a primetime event left (assuming we beat State and Auburn and they remain out of the race) to make news, but if he has massive numbers and then rips off 240 or 250 yards against A&M on Thanksgiving the guy is the leader in the clubhouse. He's going to have MASSIVE yardage totals. In the SEC.

Bro, that wasn't just a stumble. Dude was an overwhelming favorite until Saturday night. Now he's not even the favorite. Henry has 3 soft defenses and a Championship showcase coming up.

While I agree, Ingram's 1 game to repair it was the biggest SECCG ever against Florida and he went off. LF does not have anything close to that left on the schedule, but he does have opportunities to pad stats.
