what a shitty thread.
I knew who would be posting in it and what they would say after reading just the OP.

No. No, they wouldn't. But keep telling yourself whatever you need to. We're SEC and not going anywhere.
He is such a condescending putz. "Most logical Mizzou fans" implying that one is illogical if they prefer the SEC.
Just a pure dickwad. And he is way wrong. His problem is he is one of the few bitter KC types that are angry they are not the center of the Mizzou universe and he doesnt wear that resentment very well at all.
As far as Im concerned he can move across the state line and become a beaker.

It's not really the Academic or AAU shite, what the windfall from joining the B1G, is that all research is shared between the schools.
And Illinois-Chicago is also in the program.
The sharing of Research info is worth more than the tv contracts when it comes to the University. It can be a windfall for the research departments of your school.
PS i was never a b1g fan, and still dont want missouri in the conference.

There are a few of those, for sure. Some people just aren't able to see through a nylens other than their own. Of course there are fans with that viewpoint, and faculty too. But it sure seems to me that the majority are just fine with where we landed. I think that in 10 years this will show itself to be the best possible outcome we could have dreamed of.
