Its only a rivalry now because Phat Phil turned them in for cheating - as previously stated.

Your pussy coach would throw a tantrum if he lost his annual bye with Tenn. I am surprised he hasn't started crying for a rematch with Ole Miss yet.

Almost 2 decades now. At what point do Bama fans realize that Tenn's downward trend is likely here to stay? They may be slightly above mediocre at best with a great coaching hire. You cannot have a great rivalry when one of the rivals is dog shite.

I wouldn't expect an LSU fan to understand how rivalries work since you guys literally don't have one. But one team sucking doesn't negate a rivalry. If that were the case USC/ND would have shut down for most of the 90s and most of this century. Michigan/OSU would have shut down the last 5-10 years, etc. You don't kill a rivalry because one team is struggling. Not how it works.

Comparing the Bama/UT "rivalry" to OSU/Michigan is laughable.

LSU has sucked balls a lot longer than Tennessee has....until Saban got there, LSU was shite for its entire existence save a couple of years in the 1950's.

I didn't say it was as big...also used the USC/ND rivalry as an example that you don't shut it down because one team struggles for awhile. Try to keep up, Corky.

The SEC has some great traditional rivalries. There's the Iron Bowl. And TSIO. The Deep South's Oldest Rivalry. The Egg Bowl. The WLOCP.

And then there's the Game Against The Permanent Cross Division Rival We Always Bitch About Having To Play.

LSU is barely behind UT in terms of all time wins, bowl wins, and equal amount of claimed National Titles. Try again.

LSU finally gets a chance to develop a rivalry against a decent program, and what do they do? Alleva and Miles cry like a couple of school girls. That sums up LSU pretty well.

No one cares about "the good ole days" grandpa. Tenn is a raging dumpster fire and will remain that way for the foreseeable future. DWI

Who is this new "forced rival"? Please don't say A&M. That's as much as a rivalry as Tenn Vs Bama

Thanks for validating my point that Tenn. is still a more successful program than LSU all time even after a decade of sucking.

It was the south's main rivalry for most of the 20th century. Most of our young fans no nothing of it. A lot of them think LSU is a big rivalry but the older guys don't see it that way. Our biggest one is FAU and then UT if you have hair on your balls.

So you think Tennessee is a better program than LSU?

More wins = better program?

You really are struggling, aren't you? You can thank our coach for making LSU a decent program. YOU guys were the raging dumpster fire before Saban got there. Were it not for him, LSU would STILL be a perennial 8-4 team.

LSU hit their stride the day Saban arrived and not a day sooner. Again, you can send us a thank you card since our coach made your crap program what it is.
