Everyone tells us it's when Saban flipped off LSU and went to Bama
accuracy is not your forte' is it? either by accident or on purpose, Saban didn't leave LSU to go to Bama. he left the Miami Dolphins to go to Bama.
one of your problems (and some of your brethren) is that you twist FACTS into something you want it to be and then start believing it yourself. there's a word for that...............DELUSIONAL
not only is it a sickness, it really is disgusting after awhile.

Probably with the rise of Alabama. It was OK in 2009 but then came the ridiculous mulligan and then the repeat, not to mention the favorable bridge schedules and going a whole year without a holding call.

Don't kid yourself, with Alabama it's not just accusations. Albert Means.

Conference pride is retarded. It only comes off as us [South Carolina fans] riding the coat tails of other teams' successes. Doesn't work for us little guys.

In the garden of Eden, of course!

When did the hate within the SEC start?
I can't speak for anyone but myself, but for me it started in 2009 when the SEC made it more than blatantly obvious that they were protecting Alabama and Florida to insure an undefeated #1 vs. #2 matchup in the SECCG. LSU got screwed in our games against both of them, and Arkansas was absolutely fricked out of a win over UF. That's when I decided the SEC could frick itself and I would be an LSU fan only.

I really don't get not wanting an SEC team to win all of their OOC games. It only strengthens the image of the conference and if your team is still part of this conference it only strengthens the image of your team as well.
Oh, and all that $$$$ your school gets isn't because the SEC loses a bunch of OOC games. If everyone except your own team lost their OOC games, we wouldn't get nearly the same pay day.
SEC! SEC! SEC!

We left the door open too long and Arkansas and A&M snuck in

i like pulling for sec teams in every sport. the sec is amazing.
the rant is almost getting unbearable. every year it's the same thing. lsu wins=opponent sucks. nevermind the fact that it completely contradicts the notion that the sec is the best conference.
here's a notion sheeple. you don't have to fall for and parrot every meme. nor do you have to disparage every single thing on the board to make yourself look e-cool. grow up

You might say you don't give a shite but when a one or two loss SEC Champion LSU gets shut out of the playoffs, then damn straight you'll care.
Yeah, people keep saying shite like this, but the only teams the streak ever helped were Alabama in 2011 and Auburn in 2013. One cost LSU a national championship and the other had no effect on LSU. frick the illusion of SEC supremacy and frick the streak. I was actually rooting for FSU over Auburn in 2013 just so it would end, and I was turning fricking cartwheels when OSU spanked Alabama last year.

Well think about it... it's kind of big 12 nature. I would like to hear a counter? But I don't think OP has a real case and point because I mostly see everyone going for the SEC teams against ooc. So take it which ever way bud.

When Alabama suddenly became the only team to start winning championships. Before, it was an assortment of teams to win: Florida, LSU, Alabama, Auburn but then Alabama won either the NC or SEC Championship every year (other than 2013 since then). I like Alabama, but a lot of people don't.

Once the National Title Streak ended I stopped rooting for SEC teams.
Even during the streak, I never rooted for Georgia or Tennessee.
Even now, I tend to root for SEC teams to win OOC games unless it is Tennessee or Georgia.
Those are the only two teams I really never root for.

Without Saban and Chavis, LSU would not have started all the hate things.
The irony is Saban put LSU on the map. Chavis kept them on the map.
You would think LSU would just say thank you to those guys and be grateful.
