qb took a drug test. It came back +.

qb took a follow up test to prove the first test. It too came back +.

qb was not guilty after the first test.

Coach was told about qb after the first test cane back +

when the results of the second test came back + the player was D Qed. They had a presser and announced the player was gone.

In the time between the first and second test the qb was not D Qed. Therefore he could play because he was NOT D Qed.

No games will be vacated because no D Qed played played.

Some cannot understand how things work, only how they want them to work.

Hey, just win out. Florida could possibly drop two. Take car e Georgia and Tennessee and you guys are good to go. Gotta win tomorrow though or all of this is a moot point.

Thank you for bringing some sanity to this thread. Only one correction. Grier did not take a second test. When the test was first administered a sample A and a sample B were taken at that time. It takes time for sample A to be tested but when it comes back hot, then and only then, do they test sample B. Sample B takes up to two weeks to process and by NCAA guidelines, as you pointed out, the player IS eligible after sample is A hot. It's only after sample B comes back hot that the player is suspended. This was ALL done with and by the NCAA and UF Compliance Department.

Now, from an ethical standpoint, should UF have allowed Grier to play after sample A was hot? That can be debated. Was UF complicit in breaking NCAA rules playing Grier after sample A was hot. That is not debatable and the answer is an unequivocal no.

This is a long-winded way of saying, no, the wins will not be vacated.

Desperation is reeking more and more.

Get over it guys. JM is taking over the East and there really isn't anything you can do about.

Not really. False positives are not uncommon. No vacancies can happen because of this so it would have been foolish to pull Grier from the Mizzou game. The right decision was to play him.

It's a shame the kid was dumb enough to not ask about the OTC drug. He's a great QB in the making and this year's UF team, with that unreal D, posed the biggest threat to the West's dominance in years. Damn shame.

Well, it kinda does. Institutional control and what not. But it would take a couple years for the wins to be vacated.

Is that going to help you get to Atlanta?

She'll be in here to call me a beast in a minute. She doesn't like being called out on being notoriously absent until her team starts winning in any sport. And then talking shite like she thinks her shite doesn't stink.
