Sorry, but I'm not getting on the Fire Richt band wagon just because of one bad loss to Bama and a loss to UT due to the major injury to Chubb and a dropped pass.

It's more than this year. It's the no shows against Alabama and Florida in 2008. It's the abortions of 2009-2010 that produced a 14-12 record. It's the 2012 no show against South Carolina. It's getting dominated at home by Missouri and losing to fricking Vanderbilt(!) in 2013. Injuries are no excuse to lose to Vanderbilt. It's losing to a horrible South Carolina team and getting annihilated by an even worse Florida team in 2014. It's getting slaughtered at home by Alabama and losing to an awful Tennessee team so far in 2015. This shite has accumulated way, way too much over the years.

Losing sucks, and there is never an excuse for losing to bad football teams. Losing to good teams sucks, but I can live with it as long as the team is competitive and shows some fight. They weren't competitive and didn't show any fight in several of the losses listed above. That's on Richt.

Why are people so ok with this subpar performance when we have top ten classes almost every year? I just don't get it.

Meh, like I said, a few losses once in a while.

Every team no matter how good it is loses some games that they should win once in a while.
