perfect analysis. I bet this Rex guy hasn't seen Alabama play except for the UGA game. Maybe he saw some of the Ole Miss game. Rex tell me this what is Bama current 3rd down conversation percentage? Its not very good bro. You might want to actually study up on what is going on with the offense before you start talking about our fans and our team.

The problem are simple at Alabama concerning the offense. It doesn't take a genius to see that there is communication problems, penalties, and some decision to start throwing the ball on first and second down and then on third down we are behind the chains and we have to pass. It is the opposite of what you are saying. Alabama becomes predictable in passing situation because we don't run the ball on early downs. However, I am not placing complete blame on Kiffin and I hope he can get it figured out. We are breaking in a new starting quarterback and the UGA game was the best progress we made on offense all season long. So things could be looking up now but the 3rd down conversation rate is horrible.

In my opinion Kiffin has been great for Alabama. I think we were trending in the wrong direction holding onto a style of play that isn't working anymore. These past few years of college football you've had to score big to win games. 9-6, 3-2, etc. games are a thing of the past.

Yes, you can question some of his play calling, but you can also question every coordinators play calling. It is easy to second guess a coaches decision once you know if it worked or not. The fact of the matter is, we needed somebody to come in and develop an offense that works in the current college football environment and I think Lane has done a great job of that.

Kiffin is probably a descent coach. He just has that every-6-second-beaver-thought that interrupts his concentration.

Kinda like the dog from Pixar's "UP":

LK: "Ok, if 2nd and short, we'll go with Sam left,83-dashBEAVER!-right. If 2nd and a mile,BEAVER!-check at the line for BEAVER!...

Dude has sex on the brain so much, its a wonder he doesn't have pubic hair on his head.

we have a lot of dumb fans who yearn for 1960s archaic offenses.

You have to understand we had 3 minutes left a timeout and OM defense is tired. We have a RB not too far behind LF and we throw a bomb that we had not completed until the Georgia game. He does great but in that OM games and several others including last years OM and the bowl game he had a lot of WTH calls.

I like Kiffin but I did question the hire initially. He has done a great job at Alabama and UT is foolish if they don't call him and beg him to come back to Knoxville in my opinion.
