Why Tennessee will still lose on Saturday

In the interest of fairness, I have believed since before the season began that Tennessee would lose to Florida. I REALLY believed it after the Oklahoma game. I still believe it even in spite of UF's suspensions, and here's why:
With or without Tabor, Florida still has a great defensive line that will pressure Dobbs and force him into mistakes. Oklahoma put down the game plan in the second half against Tennessee and UF has the tools to exploit that, even with a missing corner.
Everyone seems to be pointing to Florida's crappy offensive line and inability to light up Kentucky as evidence for their sucktitude, but we have a pretty awful offensive line too. We have more TALENT than Florida on offense, but we don't have the ability to get our playmakers the ball.
This will be a battle of field position that Florida will exploit and grind out to a victory.
I just want to be ON THE RECORD now so that no one associates me with these ridiculous calls for Tennessee to win.

Nope Vols win pretty comfortably 22-13.
UF gets TD late to make score better than it really was.
UT's DL will be able to feast on a gimpy Grier that the coaches will instruct not to run as much since they have no capable back up anymore.
Yes UT is without Maggitt which hurts but we are deep at DE and should be able to still generate plenty of pressure.
UF's running game doesn't scare me and Sutton can shadow DRob and hopefully make sure he doesn't go off.
On offense our coaches will unleash the Dobbs running game and get him Hurd and Kamara all going early and often.
That will open up the deep ball and we connect on at least one that will open up the game.
Can't wait!

UF 21 - UT 13

This guy knows what's up.
Florida's offense has problems, but the defense is nasty with or without Tabor.
People who think his suspension alone is going to make a huge difference are dreaming. Dobbs is still going to be under pressure and he still makes inaccurate throws.

This is honestly the first year in the streak I really feel like we are going to win.
So I haven't really ever done this to myself before.
I had 50/50 hope last year but knew that with UF having an open date and us coming off the road from UGA would hurt.
We are rested and ready to romp Saturday.
I'm putting all my eggs in the basket and it will either be glorious on Saturday or I will feel some pain I haven't felt in years.
Who cares though, CFB wouldn't be CFB without belief right?!
GO MFING VOLS!

You must be forgetting TN was in the backfield chasing Baker nearly every play and FL doesn't have a qb that's anywhere close to Mayfield.

It's like Mayfield was covered in grease.

It's like everyone forgot the first 2 and half quarters of that game. Tennessee has this.

Agreed, I couldn't believe some of the plays he extended. he has done it every game with our bad offensive line. Amazing ability to leave the pocket and keep his eyes down field.

Yeah I bet we had at least 10 missed sacks due to his elusiveness. One time he had Derek Barnett and Kahlil Mckenzie on his back and still would've escaped if it wasn't for Barnett tripping him at the last second.

The OU game left a horrible taste in everyone's mouth but looking at the positives, I think we saw what this team could be capable of until the meltdown started.

Yep TN had the best Dline OU will face all year. You guys will get after FL and force enough turnovers to win.

Mayfield is Houdini, Florida doesn't have WRS as good as Oklahoma, certainly doesn't have RBS as good as Oklahoma, and as far as OL is concerned, even though they're young, I'd still give the edge to Oklahoma.
As far as defense is concerned, I'd give the edge to Florida, because of their secondary. But it's a slight edge, especially with Tabor being out.

I think Tennessee is going to end the streak now, but this is ridiculous. You know that Tennessee fans have been saying the same thing every year since 2006.
Florida is going to miss Tabor. Quincy is talented and capable, but Tabor was playing at just as high of a level- if not a higher level- as Hargreaves. His suspension hurts. Florida needs too much to go right offensively. Grier can't scramble as freely, and when he does he MUST slide, which he hasn't done to this point this year.
If he can't trust his film study and trust his what he's seeing, and slow down the game and relax, he will be fine. I just don't think he is quite ready for it. Couple that with the fact that one of our best corners are out, I think spells disaster for us.
But I'll still be there rooting for Florida to whip the dogshit out of Tennessee. It'll be a good game.

If we can't end the streak this year then we never will. I'm just worried that Butch will do something to screw the game up.

We will, but probably when no one expects it. People expecting us to win has been a really bad thing. People expecting us to lose has been a really accurate thing, though.
