Bamarep mentioned missing a practice thread, I figured just a "season" thread could handle what he was talking about.

Henry II, of England, collapsed under pressure and died of a hemorrhagic ulcer. Henry II, of France, died after being jousted by one of his own men in a celebratory tournament.
Please don't jinx Derrick Henry.

@Marq_Burnett: Dominick Jackson was at right tackle with the first-team OL today.

Alabama returned to the practice field Tuesday afternoon, as the Crimson Tide players practiced outdoors and in full pads on a mostly-cloudy, 82-degree afternoon in Tuscaloosa. It was UA's second practice of Ole Miss week.
Here are several tidbits from the media viewing portion of Alabama's Tuesday practice session:
- Dominick Jackson was taking reps at the first-team right tackle spot during the two media viewing periods. Brandon Greene was taking reps with what appeared to be the second-team offensive line.
- Sophomore wide receiver Cameron Sims was not spotted on the practice field. He posted this tweet before practice.
- During the second period, Jacob Coker and Cooper Bateman threw to two lines of wide receivers. ArDarius Stewart and Richard Mullaney headed one line, while Robert Foster and Calvin Ridley were at the front of the other.
"My first impression of Mullaney was that he has good hands," safety Geno Smith said earlier Tuesday. "He's a sure catch. Kind of reminds me of Kevin Norwood. That's been a comparison from a lot of guys."
- Wide receivers Derek Kief and Deionte Thompson were both wearing No. 1 scout-team jerseys, representing Ole Miss wide receiver Laquon Treadwell. Treadwell has caught nine passes for 117 receiving yards through two games.

I haven't watched Ole Miss, but those seem like really pedestrian numbers for someone like Treadwell

Neil Patrick Harris rolls with the Crimson Tide

Neil Patrick Harris was Big Al at Alabama's season opener against Wisconsin in Dallas.
No, really. The multi-talented actor strolled the sidelines and stands as the Crimson Tide mascot, unbeknownst to a couple he'd surprise later on his show.

Nick Saban post-practice: "The only thing we talk to Adam (Griffith) about is what he needs to do to get in his stride."

I'm rewatching the Middle Tennessee game for the first time. Coker in the 1st quarter is fricking putrid. Good lord.
ETA: Am I overreacting here? There's absolutely no way he's the best QB for this job. He's the worst QB I've ever seen, given what he has to work with. You kidding me with the passes he's missing? How many of his 214 yards came from those tosses? 30% of them?
Guys, Coker is abysmal. Ole Miss is going to destroy him. If someone thinks he's even slightly above average........explain why.

Jesus, I didn't think he was terrible. He made some bad throws, but he also made some smart ones. The 30 yard throw to Howard was a thing of beauty, but of course, the miscommunication between he and Ardarius was bad. He had some where he threw it into the ground, threw it out of bounds when he shouldn't have, but then he had some where he made a smart check down.
Entire team looked flat against MTSU. Defense gave up a lot of yardage, moreso than I would have liked up the middle. Entire game was very '12 WKU-esque. Had some fortunate turnovers that stalled their drives and allowed Alabama to wear out the defense. I know Saban, Kiffin, and Kirby have all looked at the past weeks tape and will fix it.
