Do Any Schools Besides AU Not Use Field Goal Nets Behind the Goal Post?

Like the title states, any others out there that don't use any nets? I was having a discussion with a co-worker

I don't think we do but I could be wrong. I never noticed one in my 5 years in the student section

I really enjoy throwing the opposing ball outside the stadium..

This used to be the case at lsu. Not anymore.

Going to be interesting to see how it works with the new scoreboard right behind us

LSU used to only use a net in the north end zone (student section end zone). I can't remember if they use on in the SEZ now or not.

For the AU students, just a friendly reminder...

I am surprised they do not make us put up those silly nets..

Tennessee doesn't. They do expect you to return the ball to the field, should one land in the stands

Yea, I would have figured after 7 years of doing it, they might have put them up instead of getting fined every time

I hope they don't though, I think it is hilarious.
ETA: The best is when opposing kickers try and warm up down there. They get a few kicks in and realize what is happening. They quickly switch ends

The SEZ is still no net. There isn't enough room

"PLEASE!...RETURN! the football back to the field" -Auburn Stadium Announcer
[Said football would then make its way to the top of the stadium in the student section (random student by random student tossing it upwards to the next section) and eventually to the top and over the side to fall 6 stories below and onto the ground (only when other team's were kicking)].
That was how it was when I was a student too. Good Times!

I cheer harder for that than a lot of plays

That's hilarious. I would laugh so hard if I saw that during warm up.

Anyone have a video of the Auburn student section doing this?

It happens every game. There is always a large delayed cheer a good minute or two after the opposing team scores on that end when the ball makes it over.
Every once in a while the cops in the student section try and stop it. The student body proceeds to engulf and protect said student. Then ball mysteriously re-appears further up the stands. And like that....it's gone

It doesn't take long for an opposing kicker to figure out that you can't do warm-ups on that side of the field....
...but, damn!, that befuddled look on their faces and expressions when they have waited 45 seconds to get their ball back and finally realize that they are never going to see that football again.
