No problem! I didn't see it for a bit. had to search for it. Honestly, I was surprised that it went that far, but when Jefferson said he had been accused of this on 2-3 other occasions....assuming that Jefferson is correct,(And I have no reason to doubt what he is saying) then he should have been fired.
But, again....nobody is defending the officer's actions. Particularly when he hit the kid after he sat down. All that is being said, is if the kid had stopped when told to, and done what was asked none of this would have happened.

That is all true. I think a lot of our divides come from the fact that there are two separate questions going on:
Question one-Is it smart to be disrespectful to an officer? That answer is almost always NO
Question two-Should a publicly paid state supported government agent conduct themselves in such a violent manner when someone behaves like this student did?
That answer is unquestionably NO
Some are struggling with seeing the two questions. When I say we should have the right to be mouthy to a cop and not get beaten down I am in no way saying it is wise to do so.
Again, there are two separate questions to address.
