I was watching a 2014 replay on the SECN last night and Palmer was doing color for Musburger. Musburger was doing a spot for an upcoming replay of the '80 Lindsey Scott game, when he mentioned the announcers for that game were Frank Broyles and Al Michaels.
Palmer said something akin to "Broyles? There's a coaching award by that name, but I never knew he also did TV." Musburger informed him that Broyles was once a "very successful" legendary coach at Arkansas and later the AD. I just laughed.
