It's sad that Strong may not be given ample opportunity to win at Texas.
My fellow Arkansan is a great coach and could turn their program around.
I wouldn't have minded us hiring Strong before Bielema, honestly. When Bert finally leaves, I hope he's on the short list, regardless of how he's done at Texas.

The series started 14-0 Texas. They were a hell of a team back during World War I.
Texas has been a better program than us, no doubt. But a lot of people really don't realize that the reason the series hasn't been more competitive is because of the lopsided number of wins they got back when the Ivy League schools were still powers. The very first game of their initial 14-0 series lead came when Razorback football was fewer than ten years old.

You have a point. We love playing Texas and their T Sip fans, LSU has excuse making fans. Fun to beat LSU .

Texas leads the all-time series with the pigs 56-22.
Did you ever notice that whenever the prowess of texas university football is mentioned, their fans always revert back to their wins back in the 40's, 50's and 60's?
To those that do not know the truth, here it is: The NCAA did not have a scholarship limit back in those days. If there was a player they wanted, they had enough money to give him a scholarship. That had free education for just about anyone. When the NCAA started limiting scholarships and the number of players you could suit up, parity began.
In the future when you hear a t-sip flaunting a win/loss record check it out yourself. You will find that most of those wins came before the NCAA made it fair.
For a much clearer picture of win/loss go back 20 years to today.
