This. Gerry started the domino effect of keeping the majority of the in state players, in state. He doesn't get enough credit for building the foundation that led to the turn around of the football program. All 3 of the last LSU head coaches deserve credit in their own right for getting the program where it currently is.

Yes he did, but not to the level of Saban and Miles.
