Thanks for all the updates. Despite us being in the thick of football season, I am finding myself anticipating basketball as well. Glad to see CAJ trying to secure talent, and it is especially nice to see is in contention with the blue-bloods of basketball for certain recruits.

My son plays for St Mary's HS here in Phoenix, and they have a transfer from Chicago Dylan Henderson (DePaul HS) who is being recruited by Alabama. So far his only firm offer is from Dartmouth, but he is really thinks Alabama will be coming through with a firm offer soon. He had an impressive AAU summer and his favs are Alabama, Texas, and Villanova. While none have offered he and his coach think all three will offer.

BOL says in addition to Armond Davis officially visiting this weekend, we will also be hosting Braxton Blackwell. I'm sure Blackwell will pick Vandy or UVA, but it doesn't hurt getting him on campus.

I hope Blackwell is impressed. I don't know why he wouldn't be. Plenty of people out tonight and tons of fun all weekend. In no way Vandy can compare with us on weekends like this. If we land him and Bolden I probably will convulse.

I don't think I've ever wanted a coach to succeed, as much as I want Coach Avery to. He makes basketball exciting just by being on campus.
