So you felt the need to insult me personally?
I can't help it your team is historically a pathetic program. It is not my fault you are football peers with Vandy and UK.
You're are one pathetic mofo.

I don't see any of them making it unless all the other teams are on probation and banned from the SECCG

Kentucky might. They are doing some spending on the football program now.
Ole Miss and Vandy probably never.

You give small humps until you have enough steam to clear the big one.

Right now Stoops has the #1 C in the country and the #2 ILB for 2016 to go along with what will arguably be the best class anyone has recruited at UK. So he's also keeping the top players in the state at home.
And forgive me if I don't think guys like CJ Conrad are "second rate players from Ohio". His classes have continued to get better and will if he continues to improve in the W/L column. Marrow turning down a position on Harbaugh's staff at Michigan will end up doing big things for UK Football IMO.

One of them will make it before Tenny does again...

OM will make it before Aggy.

1998 was a really bad year for the West. IIRC, only Arkansas and MSU finished above 7 wins, and neither made it to 10.
That's before they added an extra game, but Arkansas and MSU were both pretty good. Both nearly beat Tennessee, who won the national title that year (that was the year of the Stoernover). We beat Alabama 42-6 and LSU 41-14, but after the Stoernover, we lost all focus, thanks to Nutt's coaching.

We had a let down game against them after the Stoernover game the week before.
We should have been undefeated going in to a rematch with Tennessee in the title game and instead we were 9-2.

IIRC in 2007 when Tennessee went to Atlanta, that was by virtue of the fact y'all beat us in the finale. The way the division played out winner of the Beer Barrel would take the East, and loser would finish 4th or 5th or whatever due to tiebreakers. Epic 2OT game, still one of the more bitter losses to UT for me. Still, we were a FG away from Atlanta.
Anyway enough could woulda shoulda. Jury is out on Butch and McElwain. Mizzou looks to be headed down a bit after roster attrition. I think theyll level out and become a perennial 7-9 win team...think Arkansas. Vandy gonna Vandy. Georgia.... How much longer will they keep Richt? I could have BCS rings with those rosters. We've actually been relatively successful against Georgia, Joker era notwithstanding.
I think by virtue of the fact that Ole Miss is in the West, and that our administration is finally trying, thanks to the fanbase demanding it, Kentucky has a real shot. I think a lot of you will be pleasantly surprised in Year 3 how we've finally got some respectable depth. Not going to see that fall off towards the end of the season like we saw against Tennessee. Coach Stoops said it himself. We had nothing to put out there and nothing left in the tank. He's recruited the right way and built up depth on the lines, where it matters most.
Boom Williams will be a 1,000 yd rusher this year. Dak Prescott is the only returning starter who threw for more yds than Towles. Several key WRs missed last year to injuries, we get them back. New OC Shannon Dawson looks to be a great addition as the Air Raid kicks into high gear. Offense looks to be promising.
I think defense, specifically the run, will make or break us, at least this season. Losing Bud and Z hurt, and I think CB depth is going to be an issue at times, but run D is where we have to make a stand. That killed us last year.
Do we make Atlanta this year? Heck no. But we have a solid Ragin Cajun squad coming in to open up the "new" Commonwealth....a solid cupcake opener. Then we head to Columbia to face Spurrier's boys and then back home to host Florida. I can't believe I'm saying it, but all 3 are very, very winnable on paper. We'll see where we're at after Week 3. I do expect the full SOS butthurt treatment down there after we gashed them like 20 plays in a row with the same wildcat handoff last season. You know he hasn't forgotten.

I could definitely see UK first out of the three. If stoops can string a couple years together, it only takes one year of good breaks to get through. Cats could definitely duplicate what USC and Missouri have done recently.

Vanderbilt has proven they can put together a good football team and I see no reason why that changes.
