If he's already been cleared in the past, the burden is on stepdad to convince the NCAA that they were wrong. Especially if he's pointing out things that have already been reviewed (and subsequently cleared) before

I think that many people are forgetting that this version of NCAA penalty structures and the NCAA enforcement arm are radically changed in comparison to how previous cases have been handled.

I am guessing that the UNC mess is the last active case under the old guidelines, penalty structure and vague violation definitions. Not to mention that Oliver Luck is not really a guy that will let things drag out.

This is good and bad for OM. It is good in that they should push the envelope to try and put OM in the best possible position for the season knowing the stakes involved. It is bad because the previous penalty structure and the new penalty structure are night and day different and the new structure has what seems to be much bigger teeth to penalize players coaches and programs.
