Bjork has said several times it will be a replacement of the pressbox with a super structure that will probably have a deck

That grass is beautiful. Looks like soccer stadium.

Men's soccer would be fun at VHS.

I wonder why they haven't started on the other two video boards. I guess they are leaving them until last.

I didn't see anything going on up in the two corners of the SEZ today.

Do you have any experience in construction? I ask because the average person doesn't realize everything that goes into a project of this magnitude. They're busting their asses I assure you.

Yeah I've experience with construction management. The project just seems like it's moving a lot slower than projects I've seen of similar or greater magnitude in Texas, California, Colorado, etc. I guess there are labor constraints and I have no idea what the weather has been like in MS.

^That's just shitty scheduling.

Well there's your short answer. These types of projects are not the norm here.

I just got into development in Los Angeles.
How's the Memphis market?
What kind of projects do you typically manage?

I've done close to $2 million in volume since August, so I've been pretty steady. I bet LA is nuts when it comes to seismic guidelines. We deal with that in Memphis as well. As far as keeping up with updates, I kind of have to with the way we're setup.

Nice good to hear you've had steady work.
Yeah LA is hell on earth for developers. Strict seismic and environmental guidelines on top of hostile neighborhood groups and local government that puts up barriers of entry while trying to protect their friends. Not to mention there isn't a single acre of undeveloped land in Los Angeles. It's a great learning experience though.

That sounds like a nightmare. But if you can do it there, you'll handle anywhere else in the country for sure. Good luck

So is it going to be a concrete seating base or metal that will burn many an arse in early September?

I just don't want to see through it.

I hope we do some crazy mow patterns with the grass. It could really add something unique to VH.

Maybe it's just me but I really hope we don't do any crazy mow patterns, it looks cool on soccer fields as there's not a lot going on on soccer fields but on a football field there's lines every 5 yards as well as numbers every 10 yards. Personally I think it looks terrible when Auburn does it.

Good point. I think it brings your attention to the beauty of the grass instead of just a bunch of white lines...more of a background. Maybe something more subtle that meshes well with the lines.
