My guess is that Tunsil knew there were charges against him and turned himself in, knowing nothing will likely stick since he was in defense of someone who was being assaulted.
The stepdad has yet to be arrested because he won't be turning himself in as He was the instigator.
Just my suspicions.

Okay, but why is Tunsil turning himself in and not the Stepfather now that the story has come out? If it has been established that the Stepfather pushed his mother, why is he not turning himself in? Again, something is odd here.
#WRTS If this is the way we say it happened, then that is how it happened. Go back and cry about it on ED.

What fricking difference does it make? A man puts his hands on my mom, he'll be lucky to escape with his life.

did I read that link correctly in that his mother lives in oxford?
I bought them a house to get him to go to Ole Miss instead of Georgia. Lots of jewelry too. Do something about it.

How commonplace is it for a recruit's parent to move to his college town with him, especially knowing it'll be for only 4 years or less?
I don't think it's all that uncommon these days. I know I've heard of several who have done it. In fact, I've heard of recruits who only take visits with their parents, because their parents planned to move their family to whichever school they pick for the recruit.

He will probably miss several games because of injuries to his hand

If his stepfather is putting his hands on his mom, it's not a reach to think he's just a piece of shite who has no intention of turning himself in.

I haven't seen where there has been a warrant issued for the dad. Kinda silly to turn yourself in when you're not actually wanted.
Also not a reach to think that was is being reported, isn't 100% what actually happened.

You haven't been listening. It doesn't matter if something "fishy" happened. We said that his dad is tPOS. So, go sell your snake oil somewhere else. CHF has the market around here cornered.

Maybe, maybe not. But I'd like to give the kid the benefit of the doubt. It's not like he's been routinely tied to off the field troubles.

Then in that same light isn't it silly for you to say that there's something off because Tunsil turned himself in but the stepfather hasn't? It could simply be the timing of charges vs. issue of a warrant. You are contradicting your own assumption.

Why was Tunsil arrested, but his stepdad wasn't? Seems that the first dude arrested would be the one who hit or pushed a woman.
Because the bitch arse step daddy probably called the police after he had his face bashed in by someone 1/2 his age and twice his size.
Laremy and his mother probably wouldn't have done anything had the wife beater not run to the police. However, since he did, Laremy and his mom pressed charges against the step-dad, who will probably be picked up in short order, bond out, and then let the games begin.
The end result will be this: step dad will plea to 1 count of simple domestic violence and any charges against Laremy will be dismissed, as they should be.

Here is the real question if everything is as it has been portrayed: if this was any of us or even some average Joe citizen would this be news and would a DA waste one iota of time on it? Absolutely not and if you try to say it would be news/would be fully prosecuted by a DA you are kidding yourself.

Tunsil deserves a pat on the back and a cold beer

Well why would you even say that if you didn't think he should.
Thats insinuating that he should. Leave the word games to the 13yr old girls.

Came in pissed off that Tunsil screwed up, but then saw the story. Kudos to Tunsil.

Which makes me wonder, WTF did he think was going to happen? Was he trying to get Laremy to hit him?
