Losing to Richt?
That is a good loss. There is no shame in that, a man's loss, a man who has done fine works.
At least he didn't kill y'all with a sword, how weird would that be?

The last time Bama was in Athens we were up 31-0 at halftime against a #1 ranked UGA team led by Matthew Stafford and AJ Green. Richt's teams always seem vastly unprepared and mentally weak.
Congrats on beating an injury riddled team.

All these North Metro ATL kids that couldn't go to UGA, they hate UGA with a white hot passion. They're OK to harm themselves if they can hurt UGA just a little. They'll use poor logic, bad reasoning, and comparisons in which AU actually looks worse. But that's OK. They simply can't help themselves.

Is this true? Guess we should start a list of "Who doesn't own Auburn".
Definitely. AU still hasn't won a game in BR since the cigar game in 1999.

I think he has definitely underachieved but I find it hard to call him overrated because he's pretty much known as being an underachiever.

What happened the last two times Richt was in Tuscaloosa?

My UGA brethren, is anyone surprise an AU fan started this thread?

Mark Richt has lost control of the Paul Finebaum Show. Seriously, when that sentence is a running joke, how can he be overrated? I would saw he's underrated if anything because very few fan bases, including UGA, really respect the guy, and he has won some pretty big games. I would also argue he was extremely close to playing for two nat'l titles, and he would have won both.
I would go w/ Dan Mullen as most overrated. When your best victory was a win a against an Houston Nutt Ole Miss team that barely finished in the top 25, there is a good chance you are overrated.

They seem to have quite the UGAsession lately.

Absolutely not. 34-7 is the gift that just keeps on giving. I've never seen a fan base so fricked up in the head over a loss like that.
Of course, watching Georgia clean house in 2016 recruiting can't help, especially when auburn is languishing somewhere behind Western Michigan.

They can't talk shite to Bama so they turn east, to the team who has beaten them 7 of the last 9 with six blowouts.

Dan Wolken of USA Today was just on and expounded on Bo's claim.
Wolken went a step further and pointed the finger at the Administration of UGA. Stated UGA likes to pretend they're above the SEC fray and not commit to sports like Auburn and Alabama. He used their marijuana policy as an example, apparently after 2 positive test you're dismissed from the team at UGA. FOR WEED???
Also, pointed out Georgia only now making an effort to upgrade facilities.
Wolken believes as long as fans continue to show up for games, the administration will continue to put minimal effort into taking their program to the next level

Personally, I think the saddest thing about UGA fans is that you're take more pride in beating Auburn than you do winning Championships. To each his own I guess?

Jesus, the amount pure idiocy on this thread.
Let's look at last year shall we.
Played 5 top 25 teams and beat 4 of them by AVERAGE of 28 pts
losing only to GT in OT who BTW CRUSHED Mr Bounds MSU team
Not bad for a team that started the season with a rookie QB,dismissed
3/4 of his secondary (one of which was welcome with open arms by
our lowlife rivals from the west)and he also lost his best player.
Oh and finished in the top 10 for the 8th time in 14 years...
Bar must be set extremely low for sports talk in Mississippi if this clown has a show.

You think that's sadder than auburn being flat out owned by an overrated coach and an administration that just uses "minimum effort" to compete?
Okay.
