We got the Tiger from Princeton and Orange and Blue as well I think. John Heisman or somebody decided they liked it. Maybe it was Cliff Hare.

Somewhat common, OU stole their fight song from UNC (IIRC).
Yeah Boomer Sooner is a hybrid of UNC's "Tar Heel Born" and Yale's "Boola Boola".
The strangest example I've seen of song borrowing is Cal and Georgia Tech. They played in the 1929 Rose Bowl and since then each school has played a fight song of the same tune; "White & Gold" for GT and "Stanford Jonah" for Cal.
Neither school claims authorship. I remember researching a few years back and could find nothing about where the tune came from.

We stole most things. We take things from other schools, but make them better.

Well Death Valley is easier to put on a sign than "Drunken corndog retard" stadium.

So you mention 3 other teams but don't answer the question about your own team?

I think we started wearing that ugly arse orange when Pell came from Clemson.

It seems most schools "purchased" the rights to fight songs from companies back in the early 1900s, or very few were composed by a student/alumni for a school.

We haven't borrowed anything from anyone.

Arkansas:
Borrowed Mike Anderson from Mizzou
Borrowed Bert from Wisconsin
The entire region of NWA was borrowed from Mizzou via Sam Walton.
Borrowed Donald J. Reynolds' money for their stadium from Mizzou
Missouri built your school and state (and I'm pretty ashamed of the job we did)

Which if true would mean it was via Auburn since Clemson's purple/orange combo comes from faded jersies ending up at Clemson after Auburn used them.

Minnesota first used it in 1900, Iowa in 1917, aggy in 1922.
Please cite any instance of Minnesota or Iowa using that phrase after 1922.
Your premise is blatantly unfair, in any case. Who the hell wants to shout "Pig, Sooie" or wear those godawful hats? I think all of your traditions are very, very safe.
What's the deal with Baylor, by the way? Do you live in Waco?

Well LSU made it better and more people think of LSU when it comes to Death Valley than Clemson.

How so?
There are originators and then there are followers, aggy followed Iowa and Minnesota in this instance.
You originated the elephant walk and nut squeeze for defense traditions.

This did happen, so it being the Rose Bowl in that era, the song could have been given to the bands, even though I have not read anything to confirm that.
I guess I just like the idea of the Cal and GT bands having a marching band jam session on New Year's Eve and writing a new song hahaha.

We also have the best damn fight song in college football.

Virginia Tech had to borrow jerseys from us after some our students borrowed their jerseys from the visiting team locker room.
