Roy and Logan used to be very good friends. IMO, Roy feels that he played a role in Logan's death - which indirectly he did. If your close friend dies, and you feel that you're a part of it - either directly or indirectly - you're gonna be remorseful. Roy is nearing the end, so he is addressing his indirect role in Logan's death. Why he would apologize to Alabama fans, I have no idea.

TennStud is an American hero. One of the few people that was able to slow down the bammer cheating machine at least temporarily. It is laughable that bammers complain about him when their coaches and fans were scheming to get Auburn on probation as far back as the 1950's.

He was really good at trolling Alabama, but IIRC wasn't his true greatness in trolling locker rooms for sweaty young men?

Who do you think whacked Logan Young? Is the Bama Booster mafia this ruthless? Was Bama's AD involved? Or was it one of his dirty business associates?

TennStud + Phil Fulmer + Roy Kramer was the trifecta of near death for Alabama football.

Most likely. You would have to ask Cortez Kennedy about that

I'm glad I stay away from that show.

In all seriousness, I suppose it could have indeed been an accident but if it wasn't I doubt it had anything to do with the Means affair.
By the time he fell UP (not down) the stairs, the NCAA issues was long past. He'd just been convicted on federal charges and was appealing the conviction. Odds are if someone killed him, it was related to some of his other business dealings.

If he confessed his wrong doing, then certainly.

My response? No. Not until you confess what you are asking forgiveness for. Tell it all Roy, confession is good for the soul.
No sane, decent human being would want Tennessee Stud to "tell it all". Some things are best left unsaid, particularly with someone as evil and depraved as Roy Adams.
And Tennessee fans - frick you. You know you're dirty, you just have the good fortune to be on the outside looking in on this one.

Frick em'....Tennessee is paying for his and Fulmer's sins. A decade of irrelevance. They deserve everything they get. Looking forward to making it nine in a row.

Those were some fun times. I did not know Adams was still alive.

He can go straight to hell. Logan will probably be waiting for him. If I didn't hate UT enough before the Fulmer mafia took effect when the coup against John Majors was pulled off in 92 this certainly did it.
In the end, Fulmer, Tennstud, Fulmer mafia, Memphis mafia, the Tennesee attorney general, they all got what was coming to them. UT hasnt recovered yet.

I would agree. I stayed true to my school, but those were embarrassing times to be an Alabama fan. Our fan base deflected in the most pitiful of ways. Everything was always Fulmer's fault and every crimson shirt you saw had something written on it incorporating "12" or "Bear."
The cfb world could use more of you.

Yeah, Tennessee deserves to pay for YOUR CHEATING.
This gump sense of omnipotence has exploded into the fricking stratosphere.

Not surprised the backward arse gumps preach the "snitches get stitches" tPOS mantra

OK I will. When the dirt got exposed on Tee Martin's little pay for play scheme, the NCAA claimed that Diane Sanford, the source of the payola, was not a UT Booster. I know for a fact she was. I knew a member of the family very well and was around those folks, the insurance agency looked like a UT shrine, and season tickets were involved. If you are a holder of season tickets that makes you a booster by NCAA rules.
Neal Mc Cready was in Mobile at that time, and he will tell you without hesitation that this was a quid pro quo sweep it under the rug deal. UT was Teflon because of their role in the Alabama case. We even know who the bagman was and he got fired from the Mobile paper.
You can also check testimony in court and to the NCAA wrongdoing was uncovered by other schools and the word from one Richard Johanningmeier was we only want Alabama.
Had Logan Young lived his appeal would have been very interesting to hear. He very likely would have been cleared of criminal charges.

We've won 3 of the last 5 titles, let the fat Bastard and the team he cheers for continue to be poor and irrelevant.

Alabama put Fulmer out of a job and he was such a fine coach he never worked again.
