There is no other answer. 2011 LSU is the only team that comes close, imo.

2011 Alabama or 2008 Florida. That 2008 Florida team was on another level by the end of the season. 2008 Oklahoma was the best college offense I have ever seen and Florida toyed with them in the title game. But I would still go with 2011 Alabama by an eyelash.

2012 UGA beats 2002 UGA by a few TDs.

Probably the most talented team in Tennessee history.

I think the best SEC team of the last 25 seasons is the 2011 Alabama team.

I think the second best SEC team of the last 25 years is the 2011 LSU team.

The third best SEC team of the last 25 years would be one of the Florida teams

The Best SEC Team of the Last 25 Seasons Who do you got? Here are a few candidates: 1992 Alabama (13-0) 1995 Florida (12-1) 1996 Florida (12-1) 1998 Tennessee (13-0) 2001 Florida (10-2) 2001 Tennessee (11-2) 2002 Georgia (13-1) 2003 LSU (13-1) 2004 Auburn (13-0) 2006 Florida (13-1) 2006 LSU (11-2) 2007 LSU (12-2) 2008 Florida (13-1) 2009 Alabama (14-0) 2010 Auburn (14-0) 2011 Alabama (12-1) 2011 LSU (13-1) 2012 Alabama (13-1)

Before I even saw your list after reading the post title Alabama 1992 was the first team I thought of.

1992 Alabama (13-0)
1998 Tennessee (13-0)
2004 Auburn (13-0)
2009 Alabama (14-0)
2010 Auburn (14-0)

All the others had a blemish on the scoreboard.

I'd add the Tennessee 99 team even tho I know they didn't win it all and had a lackluster (at best) season. They were arguably far more stacked than the 98 team. What a waste of talent.

That said, performance wise they don't deserve to be in the convo - didn't earn it.

I have an outsiders perspective.....

1: 2009 Alabama
2: 2010 Auburn
3: 1998 TN
4: 1996 Florida

1996 Florida was one of the better one loss teams that I can remember.

1a 2011 Bama
1b 2011 LSU
2 2008 UF

Efficient offenses and ferocious defenses. The way football was designed by God to be played. Those 3 would wipe the floor with all the other teams.
