Harris is gone after this season, mark it down. Clemson bound.

LSU Football, a place where LSU QB's careers come to die.

Agreed. The only good coach LSU has had on staff in a decade is Chavis and you were too poor to keep him.

Let us face some cold hard facts here. LSU does not develop great QB talen
JaMarcus Russell
Matt Flynn
Jordan Jefferson
Jarrett Lee
Zach Mettenberger
Three of the 5 QBs to come out of LSU under Les seemed to be pretty good QBs. All of them were drafted. All of them cashed NFL checks (2 still are) Hell, even Lee led the SEC in passer rating his senior year.
Does LSU do as good of a job as Georgia? No, but you're foolish to act like every QB under Les has been a dud.

tamu football, a place where the greatest QB in the program's history has a 19-6 record as a starter.

Really sucks to have to win an avg. of 10 games a year for a decade with crappy QB play.
Does this mean when we get another good one we'll start losing to A&M?

It is laughable to see LSU fans list some of their NFL quarterbacks. Purple drank and Matt Flynn were two of the worst starting quarterbacks in the entire history of the NFL
And Mettsiah went 0-6 as a starter.
What a great legacy in the NFL those LSU QBs have.

So the offense is the problem and you fire your DC...

Better to lose on the field than in rehab.

And yet, even after losing many players to the draft, we came within a whisker of beating #1 Alabama and ND in the bowl game, and a 10-3 record.
And Terry, NEITHER of those 2 losses was the fault of thr QB., but on DEFENSIVE lapses.
And as far as I know, Jennings never played defense......

If the ref calls offsides, Wisconsin keeps running the ball in the second half, and Florida doesn't have a brain fart, you don't make a bowl game.

Too bad nobody was offsides, Wisconsin was having no success running in the second half, and Florida had Driskel for a QB.

And too bad LSU wasn't actually a 10 win team. Lolz.

I think Steele will be fine, it's not like he had any major talent or athletes for that matter at Clemson.
Yeah, it's tough for Clemson to get athletes.

First time in five years.. I think we'll be okay.
Whereas aTm has had one 10 win team in five years... who couldn't beat LSU.

Chavis has delivered you a lot of 10 win seasons recently. As long as you have him, you're fine.

Chavis was a cost effective option once our real DC went on to be a head coach. Once he wanted to be paid well more than he was worth despite diminishing returns, we allowed him to walk to a more desperate team.
