Hell, a TD post citing "government filings" is just as reputable as a tweet doing the same thing. Probably more so. Chicken wouldn't let unsubstantiated garbage get posted.

Probably some one time capital expenditures or changes in accounting practices or something drove down UK's reported profit. They've regularly registered profits of $20M recently.

Apples to oranges. Gymnasts don't wear high tops or have their period. That's a huge cost savings.

Duke and UNC I know have productions just like UK. Only difference is UK usually has celebrities. Wouldn't think they pay them to be there though.
Also, they're not spending $800 thousand on 20-25 people going to the Bahamas. And do you think UK is the only school taking overseas trips? I know UNC, Michigan St, and Duke take a trip. Hell Duke went to Dubai; that's going to be at least double the expense of the Bahamas.
List is probably shite because I'd expect UK to be top 3 or 4 but they aren't spending THAT much more than any other basketball school.

Ive been so amused lately by all these Arky fans thinking they are a prominent basketball school. Been a huge CBB fan my whole life and didnt think anyone even considered them a basketball school till I got on the rant.

Okay didn't know they paid for all three national teams lodge, food, and travel. Now it's believable.

Surprised UK isn't on there. I guess player salaries take a big bite out of their profits.

UK checks in at #5 according to Forbes with a value of $24.5 million and $15.4 million in profits.
Arkansas did not crack the top 20. Tennessee was the only other SEC program at $12.7 million value and $6.9 million in profits.
