In the A&M system TOP matters less than what you do on each drive.


I agree. That's fair. If you score in 11 seconds often, who cares about time of possession? But, if you have multiple drives in a game with 3 incomplete passes on a row, your defense is going to be in trouble. That's how I look at TOP and the only point I was trying to make in stating it.

True. It seems like most of our failed drives last year were quick three and outs. We were very hot and cold and it didn't seem like we had a ton of scoreless drives that strung together a couple first downs

I do think our offense will be a little slower this year. There has been a lot of talk about getting more physical on offense since late in the regular season and I think those go hand in hand a little bit.

We certainly made an effort to be more physical in the bowl game and out TOPed WVU 32-25. WVU is a HUNH team too but It seemed like we rarely out possessed a team in a close game before
