Grow the frick up or man the frick up. I was in a semi similar situation (emotionally the same, she didn't try to ruin my life but did try to turn friends against me)
Seriously, there's no way around this other than to man up. Hate to be harsh but sometimes that's what it takes. That's what helped me.
