I really don't understand people getting their hopes up.
This happens every year. We aren't that attractive of a school for out of state studs.
I mean from time to time we can snag one or two highly rated kids, but that's it.

Yeah I didn't think we were ever going to land either Fulton or Cleveland but I thought we had a shot at snagging Porter. It sounds like we gave him something to really think about but I don't think he leaves the state.

yea if we go undefeated, win the natty, and still fail to sign a top 15 class, there may be something more to that bagmen theory

what did I miss on porter? seems like everything was quiet on that front?
It is perplexing to me the trouble we have recruiting running backs. It seems like bielema is capable of producing at least 2 1k yard rushers a year with the possibility for a third sometimes.

That's too bad because I really wanted Porter. I'm very happy with Whaley, but I loved what I saw of Porter's running style in his hudl highlights.

Well between that and cleveland that pretty much turns our strong finish into slow deflating spiral to National Signing Day. So does that leave us with any other running backs getting on board?

We're incredibly fricking lucky that Hammonds isn't our only RB in this class.

I may be really stupid, but I when I look at Ole Miss recruiting these past few years, I tend to disagree with you.
I tend to think we are getting outpayed for players in both FB and BKB. Not commenting on if that is a bad thing, but when I look at Ole Miss and Tennessee for example, I think that they are buying recruits much more successfully than we are.
