Benito said he is 100% and made the comment on his own after the flips of Leo and Drew. I'm not saying it isn't possible, but Drew and Leo both were much less committed than Benito at least says he's is. Immediately after Drew committed, he said, "nothing is official and this isn't binding". Leo wouldn't even comment on his commitment.

I never felt comfortable with that LB who shall remain nameless. If the "smoke" is fractionally true I am glad Ole Miss didn't take the bait. Funny feeling it was a set up from Dawg Days (or whatever State's camp is called) on.

I wish I knew some of this smoke, the not knowing is driving me nuts. I'm conspiracy theorizing all sorts of things in my head.

With a healthy Tunsil I could see this offensive line coming around to form this season.
If A. Morris and Bell are displaced as starters and have to settle for back up rolls behind Patterson, Taylor and Sims this means the younger guys talent is getting them playing time over the experience of the old heads. Craig Frigo and Bouldin could also be pushing that guard group.
Fahn Cooper is still the starting RT and probably Tunsil's fill in when necessary. He played well in Tunsil's spot, but he ain't Tunsil and no one else is was close to Cooper last year. Conyers is probably still the second best option behind Cooper, but if Patterson shows he can handle the RT spot Conyers goes back to start at center next season.
Ben Still and Conyers will share time this season. I would like to see Christian Morris, Davion Johonson and Tyler Putnam get physically ready to play football.
All three need physical development. Christian Morris needs to get more muscle, Davion Johnson needs less fat and Tyler Putnam needs to get over his knee issues and get healthy enough to work out in full contact drills.
I like the longer, leaner and meaner guys like Rawlings, Givens and Howard. Feed them, feed them well and then quit feeding them when it's time to play. Let them eat defensive linemen for dinner.
I look for the scheme to change as far as pulling the guards. I think they are much better suited blocking head up. I also think the RB's this year are going to be better between the tackles and more physical than those in the past. Even Walton was better than Dodson and Mathers between the tackles and he weighed only 160 lbs.
There's some pieces there, they need a scheme that works to their advantage. Big boys need to know when it's a running play so they can get a push, not be guessing. Just some kind of audible call by the QB before the snap to let them know when they can crush someone.
When lined up in a power formation they were successful in getting a push and moving the ball. Maybe more power sets with pass play options in the red zone is the key. Maybe we get some one on ones on the outside to exploit. Just throw the damn ball to Quon he will get it somehow. Never doubt his commitment to this team. Throw it up he will get it, or nobody will.
There should be 3 throws a game like the play he scored on against Boise St. with the back shoulder pass.
I think the offensive line was bruised and beaten at the end of the season. all of the starting linemen needed surgery in the offseason. Should bold well for those looking to push for a starting spot this spring.

This kid, Tavarus Fairley, just transferred to Oak Grove from Stone County. Supposedly he is committed to LSU. With his size & speed he could be a Safety or OLB if he bulks up.

Not sure talked to a buddy that is an OG booster and he told me he was. I then looked him up and there is really nothing on the recruiting services except Varsity Prep. I'll find out tomorrow.

I imagine it will be sort of dead until Spring Practices are over....but Gots Dayum this off season boredom is killing me!

After what Dak just did to himself in Florida, boredom is good
And now, Bear.

Does UCONN have any connection to Mississippi? They seem to lead the CB's for all the top basketball prospects in the state.
