He did it to players, like Culpepper and Jason Taylor. You are really out in left field if you are trying to deny that Saban soils everyone on their way out.
To be clear, are you trying to say Saban "soiled" Jason Taylor? If so, why does Taylor claim love and respect for Saban years later?
Taylor talking about how much he loves Saban
Saban upfront with players
quote:
“We understood that that train was coming down the track,” Taylor said of Saban leaving. “From day 1 he was up front with some guys in talking about it, kinda getting their feelings. I spoke with him at length about it on several different occasions up until the 12th hour when he finally made the decision to go. I was on the phone with him late that night.”
quote:
“He cared deeply for his players. That’s why hearing the Heath Evans/Jeno James story bothers me,” Taylor said. “I was with Nick and Jeno and a handful of other players after the fact. But it did not happen the way it was reported. That’s not true.”
continue with whatever narrative you'd like, just try to back it up with actual facts.

Does a leaving a LB Coach position for a DC position need to be explained?
DC to DC like Chavis would like to know story though.

Saban is known for soiling people on the way out. Has done it his entire career. Did it to Jimbo and Will, did it to Jim and Doug. It is the downside of building your resume with him. If you leave, he has to take shots at you on the way out.
Oh no. I guess we will just have to fill these positions from within. No way anybody from the outside will apply.

I got a feeling Saban is just as happy
he likes to keep that healthy tension- he probably wants to shake it up

Pretty sure that tweet should be referring to Lance Thompson and not Steele

If this is true why have so many on his current staff worked multiple stints under him?
Because some fans are retards and need to cling to something negative about their rival to make them feel better about their life.

Never.
His opinions aren't worthless because he had a DUI. His opinions are worthless because he was an analyst for one of the shittiest broadcast crews in the SEC.

Steele went from LB coach to DC at an elite school, who wouldn't make that move?

Saban is a petulant little bitch with control freak issues topped off with little man syndrome and when things start to go awry instead of self reflection and reasoned control he lashes out to provoke a reason like all control freaks

It's common knowledge that Steele challenged Kirby to a duel right before the Sugar Bowl.

Saban probably should have listened to what he had to say. Got his shite pushed in again by Urban.

Re actual facts, I don't have the link, but I did read it in the Miami paper when it happened & the quotes were from several coaches, so I took it then at face value. But the article said that when Saban left the team, not saying goodbye to either players or coaches, the OC hosted a huge party in the coaches' building; the staff was "thrilled to be out from under him" being one direct quote from a defensive coach.

A coach's son choked out Kirby's son at a playoff practice. No idea on the other coach.

If everyone was so happy to see Coach Saban leave Miami, then why are they still crying today about it? It's been a long time, and they need to get over it as well as LSU fans should do.
