I never implied this list had anything to do with success in the NFL. If you want to nit pick the Alabama list, do that to every team as well. If you really want to pick apart multi millionaires like Julio Jones, Trent Richardson, Dre Kirkpatrick, and Dee Milliner, be my guest. They have achieved every dream expected of a 5 star player. National titles, 1st round picks, mega millions contracts, starting positions in the NFL, etc.

I guess I was thinking you were commenting more on 5 stars coming out of high school and how they performed on the collegiate level.

I think a better comparison for college to NFL would be round taken vs success --- although that would be tricky too because many top draft picks are good players who go to truly awful teams.

Most of their College career status was based on their hype being a 5 Star recruit. Dre Kirkpatrick is a prime example. 2 Int for his entire career, yet he get drafted in the 1st round based on Saban's accessment of him. There are a few Pro GMs that fell for that advice that are unemployed.
