They get a lot less snaps with the game plan in practice and most of the snaps are with the 2nd team.

Hopefully he can get used to the speed of the game. All else is coachable. He has a nice arm and does not seem to get too rattled.

I figured...but I would imagine he's still had more coaching and should still be more prepared than 18 year old Stafford was. I'd like to see what Park looks like before G-Day. He looked good last year.

Ramsey needs to get better at three things:

1. Decision making,

2. Accuracy, and

3. Protecting the football.

Improvement in #'s 1 & 2 will help #3.

He has now been in the program two full seasons and will be practicing with the #1 offense all off season. If he doesn't have his act together by the Bama game next season it will not bode well for his future as a starter.

Thankfully he has offseason and two cupcakes to start the season. Knowing he has some competition will keep him motivated.

The problem with having a cannon is knowing when to use it.

That said, there are some positives about getting an aggressive QB in place. There is no doubt we are going to have more INTs next year. The question is, will he make up for it in being a greater threat downfield? With Chubb in place, a downfield passing game would be huge.

I do hope we do pick up at least 2 legit deep threats in this class.

lots of dumbassery in this thread....the kid had a fricked up eye, did not prepare with the first team, got thrown in cold, and was playing against a D that was one of the better we have faced all year...whether many here will admit it or not...he has played pretty good against some other teams this year and the experience he got last night was priceless...how come the guys in the booth were singing his praises if he is so shitty?...all this Park love is crazy...the kid should have to do just as BR has, wait your turn and learn...BR will be just fine with an entire off season to be "the guy"...lots of the same folks in this thread will be eating crow mid season 2015....oh and John Lilly...no Bobo...who was his mentor since 10th grade...just sayin...idiots

all this Park love is crazy

He looked better to me the only time I saw the two on the same field. If Ramsey turns out to be what you think he'll be, I'll happily "eat crow" every Saturday for the next 3 years. I've never said he wasn't talented. He came from an offense at Camden that isn't exactly close to what he had to learn at Georgia. He's got a lot to learn in a small amount of time to learn it. Park has less of an adjustment and what looks like just as much physical talent. Buuuuuuut he sounds like a retarded when he speaks...so who knows.

But let's not pretend you're not even the smallest bit biased about the kid. I'm pretty sure you thought he would've started over Mason this year.

Stafford was a true freshman his first game. Ramsey enrolled early and has had basically two seasons to figure out how not to throw it into coverage.

Good point. I remember when DJ Shockley came in against Tech in 2004, with only a little bit more playing time, and completely balled out.

Wait a minute.....
