thats the beauty of the SEC any team COULD lose to just about anyone on any given week. I damn sure dont see it as luck when a team gets into a fight and doesnt quit but pulls it out. thats coaching.

Ostrich?
I googled "made up shite an Auburn fan would say about Saban" and it linked this thread.

yeah I dont know where I would come up with such a baseless rumor as Saban being an a-hole. you may be the most delusional updyke in existence. congrats.

To the contrary, it seems like a brilliant move as Kiffen has turned Bama's O from serviceable to prolific.
Where do people get this stuff? This is the least effective bama offense since probably saban's first year.

Great coaches put people around them that challenge them. Easier said than done but Saban is a great coach.
Weak coaches put their buddies around them.

This season he has really come off as more human and less sociopath. After watching Kiffen's speech at that awards deal the other day I cant help but believe he is at least partially responsible for this turnaround.
You really think Kiffin has helped Saban's personal growth? What are you even saying?

By your rationale, LSU COULD have easily lost that game to an inferior team. But they found a way to get the win on their way to the national title. See how that works?
And I'd agree.....but my point still stands

Wrong again. I asked for some examples for my own amusement, but press on with your paranoia.

Saban has always had his students best interest at hand. He makes his players go to class or they don't play, period.

Kiffen is a snake in the grass, never to be trusted ... but hey, he's always been a very decent offensive mind so that's all that really matters.
He would be welcomed with open arms in Columbia after Spurrier retires.

I believe the issue of Saban's personal growth was more of a question than a statement. having never met the man I obviously am in no position to say one way or another what caused it. I am just eating a little crow over the matter while pointing out the obvious change and asking others opinions. could just as easily be the grandkid thing which hadnt occurred to me.
its not common for a leader with a domineering personality such as Saban to hire another alpha male and it work out worth a shite. its normally a recipe for disaster. most great leaders hire their polar opposite for this very reason.

I didnt mean to use words you didnt understand. I'm here complimenting your coach and you say its paranoia? now I think you are using words you dont understand. nothing you can say from here forward will disprove the fact that you are one stupid motherfricker. FOAD

I think Saban sincerely wants to be the best ever. And to do that he realized he has to change with the times. Bringing Kiffin in was a decision made to help this team win shoot outs when needed. That's why I think this year is his greatest coaching job.

Seems as if sometime early in the season .Saban turned loose of a little bit of control on the offensive side.Maybe it has helped him relax a little and not seem so uptight .

very true. up until this year I only gave him credit for being a good coach & great recruiter. after not only making the Kiffen thing work but his ability to look inward and make changes to himself for the greater good was impressive and makes me believe he is also a great coach and leader. shite like that is amazingly difficult to someone with that alpha personality. that garners some serious respect from me anyway.

are you speaking to statistically on the season as a whole or what? seems they had a few kinks to work out early on but by seasons end that O was operating like a machine. and for this to be the first year with this offense AND breaking in a new QB? if that doesnt impress you I would hate to be your wife
