All-star breakfast cures all wounds.
Waffle, hashbrowns with chili and cheese, toast, eggs light scramble, bacon.

So, after a high school football game, my buddies went to eat at the Waffle House in Sorrento. The group sat down at the counter and waited to get served, but none of the attendents approached them. Everyone was talking and cutting up so no one paid that any mind. After about 5 minutes, the only black kid in the group got up and went to the bathroom. While he was gone, the waitress took their orders and drinks. When he came back, he thought nothing of it.
About 10 minutes later, no one had gotten their drinks. That same kid had a phone call, and he got up to walk outside. When he came back, their drinks were all served. He started to get suspicious, but laughed it off as being paranoid, after all, he'd been going to this Waffle House for years and lived nearby.
After 40 minutes of sitting around and goofing off, everyone was starting to get really hungry. They started wondering where their food was as the place really wasn't busy at all after midnight on a Friday in a small town. The same black kid started thinking that maybe it was because of him that they weren't being served, so needing to use the restroom again, he proceeded to walk off to do so and see if they got their food then. Sure enough, when he came by, everyone's food had been served.
They never went back to that particular Waffle House again.

Loved Sambo's in Baton Rouge. Would never go into a restaurant where they allow smoking. Disgusting.
We used yo say you now you are in the South when you see a waffle House but I know there is one near Allentown, PA

Hold the phone, Trueson. Are you familiar with Table Rock Lake?
Yep, we have a lake house kind of near King's Cove Resort. That is west of Kimberling City off OO Hwy. We are down there all the time during the summer. Might be headed down to Silver Dollar City this weekend to take our lil gal to see all the Christmas stuff.

Table Rock has to be one of the best reservoirs in the U.S. Most Ozarks lakes are nice and clear, though. They're deeeep and ringed with limestone.

back in the day you could actually go out on it with out seeing 5000 other boats, unlike Lof Ozarks.. which has only gotten worse.

Yeah man it will be a nice weekend to be out and about. We have a 4 year old so she will be all kinds of excited to see that stuff at SDC.
